PANAFEST is a Cultural and Historical event that takes place in Ghana every two years in the odd number years. The most recent PANAFEST was in 2025, the next two will be in the years 2027 and 2029. While we can customize an interesting tour of Ghana for you in July 2026, it will not have the same events as during PANAFEST when special mass activities are held in Elmina especially during the dates from July 29 to August 1.

PANAFEST is a bi-annual event that happens every other 2 years. It is currently ongoing in Ghana from July 24 - August 02, 2023. This means that the next PANAFEST event will happen in 2025. Would your group be happy to embark on a private tailor-made tour for 2024 other than PANAFEST?

Does the price quoted cover everything or would you expected to pay for things. Also if you wish to go out for dinner on your own is this recommended?

The price quoted includes: Meet & assist on arrival & departure, Round-trip Airport hotel transfers, 9 nights of hotel accommodation in indicated properties, Meals (9 breakfasts, 9 dinners), Transportation throughout the tour, Experienced Guide, Bottled mineral water during the tour, Admission to sites to be visited. The tour was absolutely unimaginably awesome! Richard, the tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Ghanaian people and their culture, and he shared it unceasingly. Also, not to be forgotten is Ebe, the “assistant guide” who, during interactions with local citizens, acted as interpreter, advised on price negotiations as well as fulfilled other multiple hyphenated roles: bellman- unofficial security-head-counter, and buddy to the group. Others not to be overlooked were the bus driver, who never made a wrong turn, and a second always-present overseer who kept a watchful eye on the group.Show more

  We are booking for 2027 since PANAFEST is in 2027 and not 2026. I believe Tourradar will allow you to book now for 2027. We are the agent in Ghana, we dont handle the bookings on this platform, Tourradar does. Once you book we take care to implementation in Ghana.

For tours departing after November 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of $149 is required to confirm your booking with Continent Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
