Itinerary
- Day 1
Albarracín
You'll arrive in Albarracín, a medieval walled town in the Spanish countryside, and get settled into your hotel. After checking in, there's a tour briefing where you'll go over the route and pick up any equipment you need. The rest of the day is yours to walk around this charming village at your own pace. It's a good opportunity to get oriented and grab dinner somewhere in the old town.

Albarracín to Teruel
Today you'll cycle 44 km along the Ojos Negros greenway, which follows an old coal transport route through small inland villages. You'll pass through Gea de Albarracín and Cella, where there's a 12th century artesian well. By afternoon you'll reach Teruel, a UNESCO site known for its Mudéjar architecture and the legend of The Lovers of Teruel. You'll have free time in the evening to explore the old town and find dinner.

Teruel to Estación Mora
This is a longer ride, about 47 km through pine forests and vegetation. You'll climb up to Puerto de Escandón, an old mining railway station, then cross Sierra Javalambre. The route takes you past La Fondica de la Estación, another old mining station with a terrace where you can stop. Along the way you'll cross stone bridges, viaducts, and tunnels through kermoak landscape. You'll finish at Estación Mora, where you can check out the truffle tourism center and enjoy some of the clearest night skies in Spain.

Estación Mora to Segorbe
A challenging 67 km ride today through Valencian oak and kermoak forests toward Segorbe. You'll pass through villages including Navajas, which sits near the El Salto de la Novia waterfall. At Ragudo viewpoint you'll get views of Sierra Calderona and Sierra Español Natural Parks. Once you arrive in Segorbe, you'll have time to walk around the historic old town center and settle in for the evening.

Segorbe to Canet
Today's 44 km route takes you from Segorbe through inland villages surrounded by citrus groves and the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. The landscape gradually opens up as you head toward the coast. By late afternoon you'll reach Canet d'En Berenguer and the Mediterranean Sea. You'll have the rest of the day to enjoy the promenade and beach, which has won multiple Blue Flag awards for its quality.

Canet to Valencia
You'll cycle 40 km from Canet d'En Berenguer to Valencia, riding along the Vía Churra and Vía Augusta paths right alongside the Mediterranean. The route also cuts through the Valencian vegetable gardens. Valencia is the birthplace of famous artists like Joaquín Sorolla and Blasco Ibáñez. After arriving, you can explore both the historic side with the Cathedral of Valencia and the Tribunal de las Aguas, or check out the modern City of Arts and Sciences. The evening is free to walk around the old town.

Albufera Loop
A 50 km cycle through Albufera Natural Park, which has 223 km of rice paddies, forests, and great sunset views. You'll walk through El Saler meadow to spot endemic species. Later you'll visit the fishing village El Palmar and try All i Pebre, a traditional Valencian dish. This is the same landscape that inspired Blasco Ibáñez's novel Cañas y barro. After spending time there, you'll head back to Valencia city with free time in the old town before dinner.
