Can I book an unshared or solo room for the entire trip?

Our single rooms are sold out on the 03 September departure, but if you would like to book, we can make a request to our operations team to see if we can make another single available.

Maximum number of people on the tour? English only? Includes lodging?

The maximum amount of passengers on any of our departures is 18. Our tours are all in English. Accommodation is included in the itinerary.

i really love this itinery, quick question, how much of walking does this involve on a daily basis? l love walking , no problem at all, my sister i am a little concerned, so let me know of the amount of daily walking

depending on the day the walking can vary , we do include walking tours of the cities. so all passengers must be able to walk for around 1 km or up to an hour at a time.

Could you tell me what hotels you stay in

An example of hotels used this season include: Best Western Candia Hotel Greek Islands, Petinos Hotel, Hotel Siren, Albatros Hotel. These are examples and may be different for the 2024 season.

I would be flying in from the UK for this trip - what time/where do tours meet in Athens?

We start at 6pm at the Best Western Candia.

How much time will it take for ferries to reach their destination?

The average time on ferry between locations is approximately 4-6 hours.

Why is the age range set to 18-39?? Why are 40+ not included? And is it not appropriate for kids?

All Topdeck trips are designed and aimed at the 18-39-year-old market. The average age on most of our trips is around 23-25 years. Most of our trips are based on shared accommodation, and all our passengers expect to be sharing with fellow travellers of the same age.

Do you need proof of vaccination to join tour?

We do not require you to be vaccinated for our trips now.

Are there opportunities to enjoy the nightlife, dancing, clubs, etc, in any locations on the tour?

There are definitely options to enjoy the nightlife on our tours and there would be times when your trip mates are interested in going to a few clubs on the tour so that it just something that would be organised once you arrive on the trip.

I do NOT recommend paying for a Topdeck tour. What you pay vs the service you receive is a rip off. They book you $40...
I do NOT recommend paying for a Topdeck tour. What you pay vs the service you receive is a rip off. They book you $40 hotels a night which is not an enjoyable stay. You can book all this on your own for half the cost and atleast enjoy something decent. We paid for ferry tickets and transfers however due to bad weather ferry was cancelled and we were left to pay out of our own pocket. This is ridiculous and should be covered by Topdeck. A back up plan should be in place. Do yourself a favour and book your own tour and save your money.Show more

Varied types of hotels and meals along the way which is what I prefer - when I travel I don't just want to see the polished expensive stuff or indeed just the budget stuff either. I enjoyed all of the optional activities, some of which pushed me outside of my comfort zone and let me experience things I never would have otherwise! Would recommend.Show more

- For any tour departing before June 28th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 28th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Topdeck. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
