Asked on August 1st, 2023I am interested in the 4 day birding tour. I was just interested in the airport transfer. how would it be organised and what would the extra costs be? would the transfer be from Constanta Kogalniceanu (CND) airport?
Bunica MariaOperator•Written August 2023I reccommand you Henri Coanda airport, from Bucharest. You can come from there to Tulcea by bus. The Costs are around 50 EUR. From Tulcea we can pick you up by car, 10 EUR the transfer. From Kogalniceanu airport, the transfer is very difficult.

About the areas we will visit: Carasuhat area, Litcov channel, Gorgova lake, Potcoava lake, Isac and Uzlina lakes, Perivolovca channel and the Saint George branch. About Letea forest, I recommend also checking Caraorman forest. Both are the northernmost subtropical forests, but Caraorman tours are more interesting because 90% of the time you spend in the forest, while at Letea only 20% of the time is in the forest.
