  1. Day 1

    Chiang Mai

    You'll land at Chiang Mai International Airport and get a transfer to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to walk around the neighborhood and get your bearings. This is a good chance to find a local restaurant for dinner and figure out where things are near your accommodation.

  2. Day 2

    Chiang Mai

    Grab breakfast at the hotel, then join a 3-hour walking tour through the old city to visit temples. You'll see Wat Pra Singh, Wat Buppharam, and other important religious sites that explain why Chiang Mai holds such spiritual significance in Thailand. The walk covers the main temples in the historic area and gives solid context for each one.

  3. Day 3

    Chiang Mai

    After breakfast, head to one of the local food markets for a guided culinary tour with a licensed chef. You'll try over 15 different dishes and drinks, including the well-known khao soi, and learn about hidden spots locals eat at. Later in the evening, you can choose between catching a Ladyboy Cabaret Show or attending a Muay Thai boxing match.

  4. Day 4

    Chiang Mai

    Following breakfast, you'll travel to Doi Inthanon National Park for a hiking trip up Thailand's highest peak. The trek offers nice views throughout, and you'll visit a 30-story pagoda along the route. This gives you a real sense of the mountain terrain in northern Thailand.

  5. Day 5

    Chiang Mai

    This is your free day in Chiang Mai. After breakfast at the hotel, the whole day is yours to explore however you'd like. The city has plenty to see depending on what interests you, whether that's shopping, more temples, local markets, or just relaxing.

  6. Day 6

    Chiang Mai

    Following breakfast, you'll head to an Elephant Jungle Sanctuary located in the surrounding jungle. There you'll feed, play with, and bathe the rescued elephants in the river. Lunch is included during your visit, and if conditions are right you might see baby elephants too. The elephants roam freely without any riding involved.

    Your trip ends today. You'll get picked up from the hotel and driven to Chiang Mai International Airport for your flight home.

    • For any tour departing before April 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with Discovi Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Discovi Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
