The accommodations were decent and so was the van, however for what you get this is incredibly overpriced and hyped. The first part of your trip is mostly churches, most of the time you are in a van. When I contacted the company about not being able to see 2 of the scheduled stops after we went to the city and the places (not due to weather or any uncontrollable reason, both locations were either filming a movie or having a they didn’t care that we had wasted our previous time here, not to mentioned our energy and money. Their response to my email about how the driver got lost, not being able to see what we were supposed to see due to their poor scheduling, the tour guide not giving us any information on why we were seeing the things we did, we went to north Portugal and didn’t get to try green wine, we never knew when lunch was, what we were doing or why. Our “luxury” day seeing the castle in Sinatra involved our tour guide peacing out and us joining a huge bus with 35 people and taking 3 hours just to get to get to the castle. It was not luxurious, in fact, everyone on the tour was blown away at how horrible the experience was. It was truly miserable! And when I emailed the company stating what was going on, how I felt, how the experience was and asked for some type of reimbursement they replied with a very ugly email and stated “sorry you’re not making the best of it”. A big middle finger. So not book this tour. The only criticism I have is that we didn’t spend enough time in Porto, and didn’t have any option of staying in any Pousadas.
