I've never traveled to Mexico. Help! I'd love to go in April.

Our A Taste of Mexico City experience is the perfect introduction to the vibrant culture and rich history of this incredible destination. From iconic landmarks to authentic local experiences, it's designed to give first-time visitors a truly memorable journey.

We are looking to book a 6 day tour of Mexico. We would like to know whether we can extend our stay (only) for a few more nights and still receive the airport transfer.

It's entirely possible to extend your stay for a few extra nights before or after the tour. We can help you arrange these additional nights, or if you prefer, you can book them yourself. Regarding airport transfers: Yes, as long as your arrival or departure is at Mexico City Airport and you're staying at the hotel included in the program. If you decide to book the extra nights with us, we'll also include your arrival and departure transfers. If you'd like, we can prepare a quote that includes the additional nights. Just let us know the hotel category you're planning to book and the room type (double or single).

We're interested in seeing the town of Pueblo too, travel date of 3/1 to 3/7 or 3/8/26. Do you do that type of tour?

At the moment, the programs we have published on TourRadar are the ones we can offer for the available dates, including the period March, 2026. Although we don't currently have an itinerary that includes the town of Pueblo, our available programs cover amazing and authentic destinations that travelers usually love.

Can we book this tour for 5 if we already have hotel reserved at Marriott? What is the cost per person?

We can make the reservation for 5 adults. However, please note that the rate published on our website is the only price we are able to offer for the package, even if you already have accommodation booked at the Marriott. Unfortunately, we are not able to deduct the hotel component from the package price, as this is an all-inclusive rate that cannot be modified or broken down.

Can you please provide cost for options for better hotels, if possible or let us know where we could stay at around that date. We may also be able to arrive on Feb 22 or 23, if that would guarantee stay at a better hotel.

You could choose the deluxe category available on the platform on the date that you want.

We are looking for something exactly like your 4 nights tour but with the option to add on a day for our FIFA game. We are Mexican and US nationals, but we prefer Spanish guides.

Unfortunately, I do not have any hotel accommodations to offer you for June 11.

I have to remember what I typed in, retype it all. Me, and a friend, are looking to do this. The fact that singles pay twice as much is a concern. But I am also not clear about the room choices. Probably I'm fine with a standard, ideally with double bed. I wondered if there was a big room with separate rooms with doors inside, but I doubt that (then maybe we'd book it together).

Does that mean transportation to the hotel is included? I don't see that return transport to the airport is included, so I assume not.

Will we stay in the same hotel through the trip? Since I have some flexibility, is there a better time than Feb 1-5 for being less crowded at the sites we visit? I'm travelling solo, so if there's an added price please tell me.

The hotel included in the program is the same for all 5 days. The date you are choosing is quiet since it is not a school holiday in Mexico City. The rate for one passenger is the one published on the platform.

Would like to skip the day trip to Teotihuacan on Day 4 and explore the city on our own. Is this allowed? Would like to extend hotel stay by one more day (6 altogether). Plan to leave on August 6.

If you wish to skip any of the activities, you can skip them without any problem, but the rate does not change. We can offer you a post-night stay at the same hotel where your stay is reserved, depending on the category you confirm with us, with an additional charge. This is reviewed once your reservation is confirmed.

Mexico City is a city that never sleeps and is beautiful in so many ways. We stayed at the Royal Reforma Hotel. Our first day we cruised down the canals of Xochimilco as we listened to mariachi bands, ate corn, drank tequila and bought jewelry. We then visited Coyoacán and its unbelievable market that had everything from fresh meat to prepared food to clothes. The next day we had a long but exciting day with our guide Jose Luis visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe and the pyramids of Teotihuacan. We climbed the pyramid of the moon and got as close as we could to the pyramids of the sun and the feather snake. Teotihuacan was definitely the highlight of the day. Our third day we spent with guides Gaby and Felipe, such great people, passing by the Palace of Fine Arts and walking down Avenida Madero. We visited the beautiful “House of Tiles” or Casa de Los Azulejos. We wanted to ride the subway so we had a chance to do that. We spent the afternoon in the Anthropology Museum. So much to see that you could spend days there. We had dinner at Bellini, the world’s largest revolving restaurant and had the most amazing food and views of Mexico City. We were then taken to Plaza Garibaldi where we were entertained by a mariachi band along with talented vocalists. A beautiful way to finish off our tour. With respect the hotel, the location was great for our planned activities, the staff were amazing and the roof top pool area and dining was great. We spent Valentines dinner up there. The only thing I thought could have been better was the state of the carpet in our room. It was very old and stretched with numerous visible stains. Luckily we did not spend much time in our room. Other than that we loved our tour and would definitely recommend it to others.Show more

The Mariachi experience was especially memorable. Although the tour guides changed everyday - depending on the specific tour for the day — the tour guide that spent the most time with me was Gaby & Felipe. Gaby was very comprehensive in her description of the various sites we visited and provided a lot of other information. Day-to-day coordination was conducted via WhatsApp and i was informed efficiently the next day events by Luis Ganem who answered any questions I had quickly. An excellent tour to see as much of Mexico City within a short time.Show more

First, the positives. Airport pickup, a decent tour of of the pyramids, basiclica / historic center, Anthropology Museum, as well as the dinner at the World Trade Center. Not great: Hotel Regente - despite what it says, it's a dump, with bare white rooms, awful breakfast buffet, and an even more awful gym. The location is decent, but basically, expect Motel 6. Also the first half of the last day's tour was a waste of time: first, a tourist trap jewelry shop, then unnecessary long stops at the university and in front of the soccer stadium (!). Long driving everywhere. The Xochimilco boat cruise later on was nice, as was the lunch we bought, as was Frida Kahlo's museum, except there, we did not really see Coyocan. After parking the bus, we simply walked down the street to the museum and left after the museum tour. So, OK itinerary, but not great.Show more

  The transfer in would be included even if you arrive prior to the program's departure date. What it is not included is the inter hotel transfer. That is if you stay at a different hotel other than the hotel stated as the first hotel of the program. As for the drop off, if you would like to stay for more nights, it can be done as we would drop you off at the hotel you would be staying at (drop off to extension hotel or airport is included), but the transfer from the extension hotel to the airport is not included.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Destination Services Mexico. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Destination Services Mexico will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Destination Services Mexico" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
