I'm looking for a multi day tour of Mexico City that focuses on food and drink. Possible 5 days. Can you suggest one or two of your tours that do this?

We currently offer 2 culinary programs, but they are longer than 5 days: Mexico City & Merida City (Delight Mexican Cuisine) 9 days Mexico City, Oaxaca City & Merida City (Delight Mexican Cuisine) 12 days

Can the sequence of activities be changed? If not, can you send us a quote for the extra two days since we arrive on 19th to begin the tour on the 21st and end on the 25th?

Yes, we would be happy to arrange two pre-tour nights for you, allowing you to begin the tour activities on September 22nd. September 21st is the official arrival day for the customer in Mexico City, and no activities are scheduled on that date. The sightseeing activities take place on September 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, and your departure transfer to Mexico City International Airport is scheduled for September 25th.

I would like to take a tour of Mexico City in Feb. I would like a hotel near Walking Museo de Museo Nacional de Antropología east side. I would like to extend my stay by 2 days on my own.

For our Standard Category, the hotels are Regente City and Royal Reforma, depending on availability at the time of booking. Both hotels are conveniently located and are approximately a 45 to 50-minute walk from the National Museum of Anthropology. For our Superior Category, accommodations are offered at either Galeria Plaza Reforma or NH Collection Reforma, depending on availability at the time of booking. Both hotels are conveniently located and are approximately a 36 to 40-minute walk from the National Museum of Anthropology. The visit to the National Museum of Anthropology is already included in the program. Regarding your interest in extending your stay in Mexico City, we would be delighted to arrange a quotation for additional nights. Simply let us know your preferred hotel category, and we will be happy to prepare the available options for you. The arrival transfer is included in the program. The departure transfer is also included, provided that your accommodation is located within the main hotel areas of Mexico City, such as Reforma, Zona Rosa, or the Historic Center. Unfortunately, departure transfers are not available from Airbnb properties or private residences.

What if we don't want do the activities planed for one day, is that OK that we meet up with the group later?

If I book the standard room for two people is there only one bed. I need to figure out how to book the hotel portion so that we will have two beds in one room.

It's entirely possible to extend your stay for a few extra nights before or after the tour. We can help you arrange these additional nights, or if you prefer, you can book them yourself. Regarding airport transfers: Yes, as long as your arrival or departure is at Mexico City Airport and you're staying at the hotel included in the program. If you decide to book the extra nights with us, we'll also include your arrival and departure transfers. If you'd like, we can prepare a quote that includes the additional nights. Just let us know the hotel category you're planning to book and the room type (double or single).

We're interested in seeing the town of Pueblo too, travel date of 3/1 to 3/7 or 3/8/26. Do you do that type of tour?

At the moment, the programs we have published on TourRadar are the ones we can offer for the available dates, including the period March, 2026. Although we don't currently have an itinerary that includes the town of Pueblo, our available programs cover amazing and authentic destinations that travelers usually love.

Can we book this tour for 5 if we already have hotel reserved at Marriott? What is the cost per person?

We can make the reservation for 5 adults. However, please note that the rate published on our website is the only price we are able to offer for the package, even if you already have accommodation booked at the Marriott. Unfortunately, we are not able to deduct the hotel component from the package price, as this is an all-inclusive rate that cannot be modified or broken down.

Can you please provide cost for options for better hotels, if possible or let us know where we could stay at around that date. We may also be able to arrive on Feb 22 or 23, if that would guarantee stay at a better hotel.

Our last favorite stop was having to spend so much time and feeling forced to buy souvenirs at a shop outside of the basilica. Every single other stop was very memorable. Mexico City is a city that never sleeps and is beautiful in so many ways. We stayed at the Royal Reforma Hotel. Our first day we cruised down the canals of Xochimilco as we listened to mariachi bands, ate corn, drank tequila and bought jewelry. We then visited Coyoacán and its unbelievable market that had everything from fresh meat to prepared food to clothes. The next day we had a long but exciting day with our guide Jose Luis visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe and the pyramids of Teotihuacan. We climbed the pyramid of the moon and got as close as we could to the pyramids of the sun and the feather snake. Teotihuacan was definitely the highlight of the day. Our third day we spent with guides Gaby and Felipe, such great people, passing by the Palace of Fine Arts and walking down Avenida Madero. We visited the beautiful “House of Tiles” or Casa de Los Azulejos. We wanted to ride the subway so we had a chance to do that. We spent the afternoon in the Anthropology Museum. So much to see that you could spend days there. We had dinner at Bellini, the world’s largest revolving restaurant and had the most amazing food and views of Mexico City. We were then taken to Plaza Garibaldi where we were entertained by a mariachi band along with talented vocalists. A beautiful way to finish off our tour. With respect the hotel, the location was great for our planned activities, the staff were amazing and the roof top pool area and dining was great. We spent Valentines dinner up there. The only thing I thought could have been better was the state of the carpet in our room. It was very old and stretched with numerous visible stains. Luckily we did not spend much time in our room. Other than that we loved our tour and would definitely recommend it to others.Show more

The Mariachi experience was especially memorable. Although the tour guides changed everyday - depending on the specific tour for the day — the tour guide that spent the most time with me was Gaby & Felipe. Gaby was very comprehensive in her description of the various sites we visited and provided a lot of other information. Day-to-day coordination was conducted via WhatsApp and i was informed efficiently the next day events by Luis Ganem who answered any questions I had quickly.   The visit to the National Museum of Anthropology is already included in the program.
  
  Regarding your interest in extending your stay in Mexico City, we would be delighted to arrange a quotation for additional nights. Simply let us know your preferred hotel category, and we will be happy to prepare the available options for you.
  
  The arrival transfer is included in the program. The departure transfer is also included, provided that your accommodation is located within the main hotel areas of Mexico City, such as Reforma, Zona Rosa, or the Historic Center. Unfortunately, departure transfers are not available from Airbnb properties or private residences.

  To ensure that each traveler has their own room, you may book two Standard Single Rooms. Alternatively, you may reserve one Double Room. In this case, we will submit a request to the hotel for a twin room (with two separate beds). However, please note that room assignments are subject to the hotel's availability at the time of check-in, and therefore we are unable to guarantee that the double room will be configured with two beds. Regarding your comment about not participating in some of the activities included in the itinerary, we would appreciate it if you could let us know which day or activity you would prefer to skip. This will allow us to inform our suppliers in advance and avoid any potential no-show charges or operational issues. Please also note that if you choose not to participate in any of the activities included in the program, no discount or refund will apply to the package price.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Destination Services Mexico. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Destination Services Mexico will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
