- Day 1
Baltra to Puerto Ayora
You'll land at Baltra airport where your English-speaking guide will be waiting. After a shuttle and ferry crossing at Itabaca Channel, the route takes you to Puerto Ayora with stops along the way. Twin Craters shows off collapsed volcanic formations, then El Chato Reserve is where you'll see giant tortoises roaming and walk through a lava tunnel. Lunch happens at a private ranch, then the afternoon involves heading to Charles Darwin Research Station to observe more tortoises and yellow land iguanas while learning about ongoing conservation work.

- Day 2
Full Day Island Excursion
You're heading out on a full day trip to one of four uninhabited islands, Bartolome, North Seymour, South Plaza, or Santa Fe, depending on what's available. Your guide will let you know which island before you depart. The day involves land exploration and snorkeling to see underwater life. Throughout the day, you'll have a box lunch served on board.

Puerto Ayora to Isabela Island
This morning you have time to yourself in Puerto Ayora, so consider visiting Tortuga Bay for its white-sand beach where sea turtles lay eggs, or Las Grietas, a narrow gap between lava rocks that's good for swimming. The local fish market along the boulevard is also worth checking out. By afternoon, you'll take a speedboat to Isabela Island, which runs about 2.5 hours. After settling into your hotel, Flamingo Lagoon near town makes for a nice evening visit if you have energy, since it's the largest coastal lagoon in the Galapagos.

- Day 4
Isabela Island
Your morning excursion goes to Las Tintoreras islet where white-tip reef sharks, Galapagos penguins, marine turtles, and sea lions hang out. You'll walk around the land first, then snorkel to see the underwater animals. Later in the afternoon, you have free time and should consider heading to Concha Perla, a natural pool with clear water where you can swim and snorkel alongside sea lions, marine iguanas, sea turtles, and different fish.

- Day 5
Isabela Island to Santa Cruz Island
This morning Isabela is yours to explore. Renting a bike to reach the Wall of Tears, about 8 km out of town, means you'll pass beautiful beaches with marine iguanas, the Wetlands showing off lava formations, and probably encounter giant tortoises and sea birds. The Wall of Tears itself is a 25-meter historical structure built between 1945 and 1959 by prisoners. Another option is the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre in Puerto Villamil to see baby tortoises and learn how the breeding program works. In the afternoon, you'll take the speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island, roughly 2.5 hours, check into your hotel, and have the evening free.

Departure from Galapagos
Your last morning involves a casual walk around Puerto Ayora boulevard and a visit to the local fish market where pelicans and sea lions often show up. Then you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Itabaca Channel for the ferry and shuttle to Baltra Airport, where you'll catch your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
