  Brazil and Argentina. Dissapointment... the only word that summarized my most recent experience. I was really looking forward to my trip to Brazil and Argentina and not prepared to be dissatisfied and disappointed. Sugar loaf and city tour day ending at 12:00 noon and nothing to do until 6:45 if you choose the optional experience. Cristo redentor....ending at 12:00 and nothing to do again until 6:45. Too much free time, activities ended at 1:00 in Rio. About Hotel in Rio rooms and bathrooms are more appropriate for one person. Uncomfortable. Brazil to Iguazu falls spent all day at the airport starting at 4:30 am. We had wake up at 3:00 am to spend all day at the airport. Hotel was better. Iguazu to Buenos Aires...all day with no plans or things to do. We had a short visit less than a hour to the three bordes and back to the hotel and airport. Another day wasted and reaching the hotel after 10 pm. Intercontinental Hotel... very nice and comfortable rooms. On the 30th of January we finished the tour at 1:00. After that I would have rather be on my way home. Instead we were at the hotel and looking for things to do. Considering the schedule, this whole tour can easily be done in 7 days or less if they can organize the transfers. So much time wasted at the airport and too much free time. For the money and time spent and, considering previous experience with Trafalgar, someone made the wrong call changing schedules and causing disruption. This is not our first tour, we have been using Globus, Vacations by rail, Europamundo and others and what happened in Brazil and Argentina with Trafalgar is too much to ignore. I paid to have things run smoothly and have things to do and spent the least amount of time at airports and no need to have 6 hours of free time between activities. Everyone was dissapointed. What happened Trafalgar? Who dropped the ball? Anyway second and last experience with Trafalgar and now I wonder if all affiliates with The Travel Corporation are the same....Show more

  The tour was fantastic in Brazil, every little thing was well catered for. The only downside in Brazil was the dinner and entertainment additional tour. The place was massive and the seats were crammed in. This made the lines for food intolerably long which was a shame, the food was ok quality and a great variety but the long lines meant your companion was half way through their meal when you eventually sat down. The entertainment was nice but a little too long in duration I felt. The Santa Theresa Tour was cancelled due to unrest and I understand this is unavoidable, however, it may have been nice to be offered an alternative. Gio our Tour Director did a super job of making suggestions for things to do on our own. In Argentina there was very little in organised touring which was a shame. The city was wonderful but the option of going horse riding was not for me nor going out in a boat Tigre Delta as it was too cold. A city tour of the whole day instead of half day might have been more beneficial here. That said Buenos Aries was wonderful. Be my guest was the highlight of this leg of the tour - don't miss it!Show more
