My wife and i are interested in a combined trip to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. We have a couple of issues. My Wife is 66 years old and a rock climber. I am 73 years old and play tennis daily. But i seem to be outside your age limit. As far as food, we are both vegan and I am gluten free. Will there be anything for us to eat?

On this tour, the age requirement is 12+, no maximum age required. You are definitely welcome to book on this trip! The Vegan meal options are limited but it can be accommodated on tour! In regards to Gluten free options, there are also limited. Once the tour is booked, or at least held for you, we will need to confirm with the local team that we can accommodate it on this trip and that there will be enough options for you.

Can I pay for meals with a credit card?

In larger cities, some restaurants accept credit cards, but it’s always advisable to carry cash.

Is travel insurance mandatory for this tour?

Yes, it's mandatory to have emergency medical travel insurance that covers the duration of the tour.

Do I need to apply for a visa for Turkmenistan?

  We need to book a flight to Tashkent, should we arrive in Tashkent on the day before, May 22? We fly out of Ashgabat, should we plan on leaving on June 5th? What is your advice. I'd like to look into the flights before booking.

  On day 1, May 23, nothing is planned for the day except for the welcome meeting, which is usually at 6pm. You can definitly arrive on the same day! Arriving a day before is great if you wanted to spend some time in the city on your own. On the last day, June 4th, nothing is planned. It's a departing day and a departure transfer is included.
