  What a legend. Orty has gone above and beyond everyday. It doesn’t feel like he’s a tour guide it feels like he’s a good buddy who knows all the best spots and tips who’s biggest concern is making sure everyone is having the best time possible. From sporadic head massages while waiting for dinner to happily lending cash to people who haven’t had a chance to reach the ATM, he’s the man. I’ve done a bunch of tours all over the world and he’s by far the best tour guide yet. So funny, adventurous and knowledgeable. A couple of us mentioned we wanted to try fishing, within 5 minutes he hooked us up with a local fisherman who took us out on his boat at 6am the next day. An experience you can’t put a price tag on. Promote this guy.Show more

  This has truly been a wonderful experience. I’ve done tours all over the world, and this one unquestionably tops the list. A huge part of that is thanks to my guide, Orty. He’s sweet, hilarious, and a natural people person—perfectly suited for this job—and he consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and stress-free. He genuinely cares about the group and wants everyone to have an amazing time, and it truly shows. 🌞 Then there’s the sheer beauty of the islands themselves—widely regarded as some of the most beautiful in the world. I’ve attached a few photos, but even they don’t fully capture how breathtaking it is in person. And finally, the people. The Filipino people are, without question, some of the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. So many locals struck up friendly conversations and wished me well on my journey with no ulterior motive—just pure kindness. All in all, this has been one of the most pleasant and memorable experiences of my life. The castaway night, where we stayed in huts on a private island, was especially unforgettable. Sitting by a bonfire while a guitarist played songs requested by the group, waves crashing in the background, then waking up to a glowing sunrise—it felt spiritual and is something I still smile about whenever I think of it. I also captured some of the best photos I’ve ever taken. 🌞 I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. And if you’re lucky enough to have Orty as your guide, you’re guaranteed one of the best experiences of your life. Lastly, I want to touch on age. I’m 51 years old, and I was a little skeptical about doing this tour after seeing the age recommendations and photos of much younger travelers. I was even asked at the welcome dinner if I felt uncomfortable being the only older person in the group—and honestly, I did for the first day. But it didn’t take long for us to grow comfortable with one another, and eventually, genuinely fond of each other. I feel young for my age, still full of energy and passion for life, and this experience completely reaffirmed that. If you’re on the fence because of age—don’t be if you're a fun person who can go with the flow.Show more
