Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca
You'll arrive at Casablanca Airport where your local guide meets you and takes you to your hotel. If you're interested, dinner at Rick's Cafe is on the table that evening. The restaurant draws inspiration from the classic film and serves American, French, and Moroccan dishes, so it's a nice way to ease into your trip if you have the energy.

Rabat - Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you'll take a short city tour of Casablanca and then head to Hassan II Mosque, which sits right on the water overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. From there, you travel to Rabat to see the Royal Palace, Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and Hassan Tower. Later that day, you'll continue on to Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted streets and buildings.

Meknes
Following breakfast in Chefchaouen, you drive to Meknes, Morocco's third Imperial city. The day includes visiting Bab El Mansour, one of the most beautiful gateways in the country, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and walking through the Old and New Medina. You'll pass through the sacred village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun before reaching the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis.

Fes
After breakfast, you'll spend your morning in Fes's medieval Medina, walking through its ramparts and narrow streets. You'll see the 16th century Merinid Tombs, Bouanania Médersa, Attarine Medersas, Karaouine Mosque, and Nejjarine Marble Fountain. In the afternoon, you check out the decorated Bab Boujeloud gate, the medieval tannery, Royal Palace, and local souks selling handmade jewelry, leather goods, and pottery.

- Day 5
Midelt
You'll head out early morning through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing through Ifran and Azrou. There's a stop at a cedar forest to see the Cedre Goraud Tree and Barbary apes in their natural habitat. As you continue south past nomadic settlements and volcanic rocks, you'll reach Midelt by lunch. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like at your hotel.

Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, you drive across Tizi N'Talghomt Pass with nice panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. You'll cross Ziz Gorge and tunnel, then see Barrage Hassan Al-Dakhil with its turquoise blue water near Errachidia. Driving to Erfoud, you make stops to see the Aoufous palmeraie along the Ziz River. Once you reach the desert hotel, you'll go on a camel ride to your Nomad Berber tent where you'll spend the night under the stars.

Zagora
Wake early to watch the sunrise with your guide, then have breakfast back at the hotel after freshening up. You'll head to Rissani to check out the local souk and see the Fondouks where donkeys gather. From there, you continue toward Tinjdad, passing Erfoud, known for its marble fossils, and seeing irrigation systems along the route. After lunch in Tinjdad, you drive to Zagora and spend the night in a traditional Kasbah in an oasis.

Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, you drive to Ouarzazate, called the Moroccan Hollywood because of its three movie studios and cinema museum. Then you head to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site with an exotic Kasbah sitting on a hill along the fertile Ounila River. This location has been used for filming many international movies including Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator.

Marrakesh
Following breakfast, you drive to Marrakesh across Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, and you'll have chances to stop for photos and take in panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and Berber villages along the way. You'll arrive in Marrakesh, the imperial city of the South, and settle into your 4-star hotel for the night.

Marrakesh
After breakfast, you'll explore Marrakesh's imperial sites starting with the Koutoubia Mosque and its tower. Next come the colorful 16th century Saadian Tombs and the 19th century Bahia Palace with its beautiful eastern architecture. After lunch, you spend time in the fascinating Souks and narrow alleys around Djem'a El-Fna Square. By evening, you'll see snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers, and storytellers performing in the square.

You leave Marrakesh in the morning and head toward Essaouira, the old Portuguese city on the coast. There's a visit to an Argan factory run by women where you'll learn how Argan oil is made. You'll explore the port of this coastal town and grab fresh seafood lunch in the medina. The afternoon is yours for personal exploration, swimming, or relaxing on the beach.

- Day 12
Casablanca
You leave Essaouira and drive to Casablanca by the coastal road, taking in the scenery as you pass through Safi and Oualida where you can enjoy delicious seafood. After lunch, you continue toward Casablanca, passing El Jadida, an old medina established in 1513 by the Portuguese. You'll arrive back in Casablanca by early evening.
