    My friends and I would like to do the 5 Stans and the Caucasus. The $16,000 price did not put me off too much but when I looked at the 2026 tour costs at $19,000 each I knew my friends probably won't have that sort of money especially with the response that flights are not included between destinations and between what is obviously two tours back to back.

    For the application of Turkmenistan visa, we need a letter of invitation. How to get it?

      Land border crossings: Turkmenistan Uzbekistan/Uzbekistan Tajikistan/ Kazakhstan Krygyzstan. By land border crossing there is about 200-250 meters of walking and people need to take care of their own suitcases. Unfortunately there is no porters at the borders.

      In the Caucasus you would have to carry your suitcase in between the 2 countries while land border crossing for about 200- 300 meters as we do not have porterage services in between the countries.

      Would western-style toilets be available at all places? Kindly let us know about yurt accommodation? We shall require vegetarian meals (Indian cuisine, wherever possible).

      Western Style Toilets are available all over in Central Asia since the Soviet times. Yurt accommodation is never recommendable in Central Asia as their yurts not in good condition. Vegetarian Menu has never been issue so far in Central asia and they can provide but of course their own style.
