For all our tours, each traveler is allowed one suitcase with maximum dimensions of 30x21x11 inches and a weight limit of 50 lbs. For hand luggage, dimensions must not exceed 12x11x6 inches, and wheels are not allowed for safety reasons.

What are the visa requirements for Australians traveling to Chile?

Visitors from specific countries, including Australia, need to secure visas for travelling to some destinations in our tours. Please check the visa requirements with the local consulate.

What is the cost of extending the tour by 2 nights?

The cost to extend the tour by two nights is $89 per person, per night, and we can add this to your booking upon request.

The tour, the tour director, and the hotels were excellent. However, we will NEVER use Tourradar again due to the misinformation that you gave us prior to our trip. Examples: First, we were told that we could not bring a second piece of luggage without paying an extra daily fee- and that the carry on had to be no bigger than 12x11x6. We worked very hard to comply with that strict standard. So, imagine our surprise and anger when EVERY other tour member had a large checked suitcase, a standard carry on suitcase with wheels, and a personal bag much larger than those measurements! Secondly, we asked 3 times (April 24, 25, 27) if we would be flying on Aerolineas Air during our trip. Three times we were either just quoted the paragraph from the brochure that said, "if you fly on Aerolineas Air..." or outright told that we would not. So, we were pretty angry when we did in-fact fly on Aerolineas Air. So we had to pay the extra weight fee. (If we had been allowed to divide our luggage between our large suitcase and a carry on, we would not have been over their 17kg limit.) Lastly, your brochure said that there would be headsets throughout the tour. Turns out there was not one headset an ANY tour. Many times, especially when we were on a busy street, we could not hear a thing that the tour guide told us. We paid a lot of money to learn what we could about these places that we would never visit again, so we were really cheated out of what we paid for.Show more

  We do have the tour option without Santiago. It's the Brazil and Argentina Escape. We have 13 spots available on our October 25 and 7 spots available November 8, 2024 departures. When you book this tour, you will make a non-refundable per person deposit. In the event you need to cancel, your deposit will be used towards your cancellation fee if you cancel before the final payment.

- For any tour departing before June 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with Globus. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
