Can we do a trek for 2 people to Choquequirao in Oct/November? Would there be a larger group or just the 2 of us? Do you hike in the same way you hike out?

We have group organized treks in October and November. Just book the date that you want to depart or let us know your date so I can see how many people we have.

Can you provide a bit more detail as to how much it would cost for our family of 3 and what would be included? Perhaps we could arrive in Cuzco on Monday, 12th August, so with a few days to acclimatise, looking to start the trek on the 14th or 15th? I'm looking to see what is included and the cost. And how many days/nights? Also, do you offer/recommend any other extensions or additions to the Choquequirao trek that would be good for a family with a small child? I am happy to hear your suggestions for other options with a small child if you don't recommend Choquequirao. The steepness for my husband and I is not a concern. I'm not the fastest, but I'm sure would be well within your average times. Thank you for your concern about the mosquitos. Are they always really bad or is it weather/altitude dependent? Just a bit concerned about our daughter and trying to decide if it would not make for a nice experience for her.

Better to dont risk the health of your daughter in choquequirao, because is altitude could be hard for her. We have 2 more options: 1st Do the inca jungle tour 4 days 3 nights, here is less altitude and it will be part of the high jungle too and Machu Picchu. 2d Do the Sacred valley tour Connect with Machu picchu. I recommend you those options, to feel better also for your daughter.

A bit uncertain at the start with 3 name changes for the guide, but Abel the guide was great. The accommodation also changed in that we were to be in tents for 3 nights but ended up in refugios, which was great. Tough tour but very rewarding. Chocquequirao live up to the hype. Shout out to Flor Grande from Conde travel who did a great job behind the scenes. Would recommend this tour, perhaps given the taxing hiking it could be a 5 day tour.Show more
