    Asked on January 15th, 2023

Are we staying in tents, yurts, or cabins at the campground? Just curious. I have my own tent and camping gear I could bring if needed. I have dietary restrictions. I am whole-food, vegan and I cannot eat any type of flours or sweeteners... I eat only non-process fruits, veggies, whole grains (non-wheat), potatoes, and beans/tofu. Is there any way to accommodate that? If not, could I bring my own food in a cooler?

    • Wildland TrekkingOperatorWritten January 2023

On this trip we stay in tents. We have tents of all different sizes; if you're solo, we wouldn't have you share a tent with a stranger, although you might be assigned a smaller backpacking style tent. You are welcome to bring your own gear if you would prefer, although it's not needed as we typically provide the tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, trekking poles, and all the food. We can usually accommodate pretty much any diet when it comes to vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or allergies, but occasionally if someone is allergic to a very wide array of most foods, the guide might ask you to bring some additional items of your own to supplement.
