Can you please advise if on Day 1 the traveller will be staying in Can Tho or Ho Chi Minh City? In the description it says that the bus going back to Ho Chi Minh City, however, the overnight stay in Can Tho, it is quite far from Ho Chi Minh

I'm a solo traveller and I wander why the price is higher for 1 person on Mekong delta from Saigon to Phnom Penh 3 days as there is no hotel included.

Just wondering if we can get visa on arrival with river border crossing? We are from Australia. Or do we need to get a visa beforehand?

You need apply evisa online from immigration website. It is simple.

How large is your main tour boat- how many people for the tour? Will there be an English speaking guide with us on the boat and land portions of the trip? Are areas of the boat air conditioned? My wife and I are 81 years old, quite active, but have not ridden a bike in probably 35 years. Is there an option for a three wheeled bike, a tuk tuk or a pedicab? We are afraid that id we fall we will break bones. Do we transfer to smaller boats for the tours through the canals?

It is maximum 9 people. The English guide accompany with client for the whole trip. Sorry it is not air conditioned. It is optional we have another option horse ride or walking. Yes mixing big boat and small boat.

This tour is great. You get to see so much of the Mekong Delta and the way of life here. The trips each day showed us something new. We traveled from Phomn Penh to HCMC. We really enjoyed the speed boat down the Mekong River, the fishing village and the Muslim village, floating markets, the boat trips in the jungle, crocodile farm and more. Our tour guide Jenny was very knowledgeable and friendly as was the driver. We were the only ones on the tour so it very personable. We are very happy we decided to do this trip. Enjoyed Mekong exposure but….The tour guides were nice and I say plural because they kept switching us. …that is why I gave any stars… but …long story …arranged almost 6 months ahead with Tourradar. Tour though was being handled by BravoIndochina. Communication abysmal, not responding and when did, answer was limited in English. They never communicated even about pick up until I pursued. It was a three day tour. Bau, our first guide was great but midday he said, I’m supposed to drop you off on this street corner. WHAT??? He said you’re supposed to take a bus to the next town. Meanwhile our bags are elsewhere. We refused to let him leave until he united us with our bags at least. He finally swore another guide was going to pick us up. No warning or explanation. That happened again the next day, again without communicating. When contacted BravoIndochina, they just said, trust us, no explanation or communication. And because of these switches, we lost out on seeing things. We also asked to switch hotels and we would pay the difference but I gave up due to their limited English on the email platform. We realized they looked at our tour as just to get us from point a to b as each guide didn’t know what was on the tour. They asked what does your tour include? Luckily I had a printed copy or would have missed out on more. Would never recommend either company!!! Tourradar tried to be a go between but just said that BravoIndochina has great reviews. They also tried to pursue them to answer my emails. Enjoyed guides and their input but your anxiety provoking in an area where we had no other options if they bailed on us. Glad that is behind.Show more
