    • Fun Travel IcelandOperatorWritten August 2025

Day one is arrival day and the only activity that day is to make your way to your hotel, however keep in mind that check in time is 3 pm. The tour then formally starts on day 2 at 8:30 with pick up from your hotel.

    Asked on July 26th, 2025

Is there a reason that you do not travel in September or October. Do you have any tours in those months. We wanted to see the Northern Lights.

    Tour Details
    • Fun Travel IcelandOperatorWritten July 2025

Unfortunately, I do not offer tours in September/October. You should not plan to come to Iceland solely to see the Northern Lights, you will most likely be disappointed. Come to Iceland for the scenery and if you see the Northern lights, consider it a bonus. Best time November - March.

    • S

      Shirley

      TravelerWritten July 2025

I would still like a chance to see the lights. You do not say if you have a tour in November.

    • Fun Travel IcelandOperatorWritten July 2025

Unfortunately, I do not have a trip in November. I have a winter version of this trip called "Glaciers and Aurora" and might, maybe, perhaps have a tour in late February, although I doubt it.

    Asked on April 25th, 2025

Is there an option to add a pre-tour extension to include it? Or, alternately, suggestions where/ when / how to view it on my own there if I arrive early? Or will there be a late July 2026 tour I can extend to view it?

    Tour Details
    • Fun Travel IcelandOperatorWritten April 2025

I do not offer any pre- or post-tour extensions for the solar eclipse. I on purpose planned my tours for 2026 to be as much away from the areas, where you can view it the best, it will be super crowded and traffic jams.

    • S

      Shirley

      TravelerWritten May 2025

Could you recommend where i can go for a good view of it before your tour? I think this could be my last chance ever to see a total eclipse before I leave the planet

    • Fun Travel IcelandOperatorWritten May 2025

If you Google "iceland solar eclipse tour 2026" you find several companies that offer tours to that part of Iceland during the eclipse.
