    We are considering booking this trek - We are 2 "senior citizen" 65 y.o, quite fit. Do we need to carry the tents and the food? Just worried about a heavy back pack.

      You would have to carry your own gear (15-18kg). We had to change this year's itinerary due to maintenance work on the trails on the US side.
