what type of transport - bus or train?

You will be using a coach bus to travel within each country. The transportation on this trip is via motor coach. You will be travelling on this motor coach with up to 50 other like minded travellers from around the world.

Day 2 Wednesday, 31th Of July Of 2024 MADRID The day starts around 08.30 hrs with a city tour through the centre of Madrid, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Entrance to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the football stadium of Real Madrid. We get to know the areas reserved for the players as well as the public areas and the small museum about this team, considered by some as the best in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At the end of the evening, we will return to the hotel.

Is there a full refund if I reserve a tour in September or October? I need to apply for a Schengen visa and am not European. Is it possible to reserve and get a reservation certificate to present with my visa application while waiting for confirmation?

We can send you a support letter to help you with your visa process. This letter will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed and you have attached a copy of your passports. In case of cancellation, the corresponding penalty must be applied. Penalty 1: 31 days or more: Euro 100. From 30 to 11 days before departure: Euro 100 + 10% of booking cost. From 10 to 01 days before departure: Euro 100 + 25% of booking cost. No show: 100% of booking cost. Penalty 2 (for tours including cruises, domestic flights, private groups, and tours in Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Oceania): 31 days or more: Euro 100. 30/21 days before: 100 euro + 10% of booking cost. 20/11 days before: 100 euro + 20% of booking cost. 10/3 days before: 100 euro + 30% of booking cost. During 48 hours before: 100 euro + 50% of booking cost. No Show 100%. Penalty 3: In some cases, an additional 20% penalty applies on top of Penalty 2. No shows at the start without prior cancellation will not be entitled to any refund except force majeure, examined case by case. Different cancellation conditions apply for programs including train/airplane/cruise routes or tours to Kenya and Tanzania. We recommend taking out insurance against cancellation.

The only snag was in the end when the airportt transfer for the day came an hour early and as we didnt get down on time, it left and we had to get another cab and pay for it even though the transfer was pre paid. However Tpur radar did refund the amount to me when I contacted them about it. The guides were awesome. The coaches were comfortable and the accomodation was good too. Made some good friends while on the trip.Show more

Madrid experience went well from the itinerary, hotel, to the guide. From Madrid to Barcelona, there was an issue wiith the bus. First, there was an annoying creaking sound which they were only fix it once we had a rest stop. Second, after leaving Poblet, water started coming out of the AC. My family were the unlucky ones as the water came out where we were seated (3rd and 4th row on the right side of the diver). It was not just a water drip, it’s like a bucket of water poured on me as my pants were drenched. Our guide did not even check on how we are and just asked us to move at the back of the bus. It was a disappointing experience.Show more

Mature tourists and other language tourists are not familiar with metro so own transport had to he arranged. Hotel Praga was bad. Waiting half an hour for an elecator at check out and bus left late.   We are now wanting to adjust our Castilla and Portugal Tour one week later in order to book Madrid to Morocco tour 23-29 May. We are repeat customers, I am over 65 and our party of 3 includes a 3 year old sharing the room. We would definitely like to add the MAXIMUM discount to our reservation. What we would like is to receive the Black Friday discount of 30% on this too as replacement option.

  Regarding the discounts, we'd like to clarify how our Passenger Club Discount works: the categories such as travelers over 65, repeat passengers, and honeymoon travelers all fall under a single Passenger Club Discount of 5%. These categories are not applied individually or combined on top of one another — they simply qualify you for the same 5% discount, regardless of how many categories apply to your group.
  
  That said, the good news is that your 3-year-old would qualify for a separate children's discount, as minors have their own special pricing. We will be happy to apply that to your reservation.
  However, we do want to be transparent with you: unfortunately, the Madrid and Barcelona tour is not eligible for the Passenger Club Discount. This is a promotion that applies only to select tours, and this particular departure does not qualify.

  Day 2 Wednesday, 31th Of July Of 2024 MADRID
  
  The day starts around 08.30 hrs with a city tour through the centre of Madrid, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor.
  We will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Entrance to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the football stadium of Real Madrid. We get to know the areas reserved for the players as well as the public areas and the small museum about this team, considered by some as the best in the world.
  Enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
  At the end of the evening, we will return to the hotel.

  To know details of the circuits for the year 2025, we could know it in the month of November 2024. We will inform you as soon as the new season 2025 is available. Europamundo currently our regular departures are operating with a minimum of two passengers, the most flexible policy of any major touroperator. However, please keep in mind that at this date we still cannot guarantee the operation for your chosen departure. Since we depend on situations outside our control like the evolution of the pandemic, vaccination rates and border policies set by each country, we evaluate our destinations week by week in order to make a decision whether to operate it or not. Additionally, we strongly recommend that you find out beforehand all requirements and restrictions you may have to comply in order to enter the countries you plan to visit to avoid any setback, for we will not be held liable should any entry impediments should arise during your trip.

Is there a full refund if I reserve a tour in September or October? I need to apply for a Schengen visa and am not European. Is it possible to reserve and get a reservation certificate to present with my visa application while waiting for confirmation?

  We can send you a support letter to help you with your visa process. This letter will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed and you have attached a copy of your passports. In case of cancellation, the corresponding penalty must be applied. Penalty 1: 31 days or more: Euro 100. From 30 to 11 days before departure: Euro 100 + 10% of booking cost. From 10 to 01 days before departure: Euro 100 + 25% of booking cost. No show: 100% of booking cost. Penalty 2 (for tours including cruises, domestic flights, private groups, and tours in Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Oceania): 31 days or more: Euro 100. 30/21 days before: 100 euro + 10% of booking cost. 20/11 days before: 100 euro + 20% of booking cost. 10/3 days before: 100 euro + 30% of booking cost. During 48 hours before: 100 euro + 50% of booking cost. No Show 100%. Penalty 3: In some cases, an additional 20% penalty applies on top of Penalty 2. No shows at the start without prior cancellation will not be entitled to any refund except force majeure, examined case by case. Different cancellation conditions apply for programs including train/airplane/cruise routes or tours to Kenya and Tanzania. We recommend taking out insurance against cancellation.

  Please be advised that the adventures we offer will not include international airfare, as travellers can join the trip from many different countries. You will be responsible for booking your own flights to meet at the starting city of your adventure. We additionally recommend you do not book your airfare until your place is confirmed and guaranteed to depart.

  For this tour you cannot book it on a private basis if you are jst 1 people. You need a minimum number of at least 16 people in order to book trips with Europamundo on a private basis and prices can be more than double than the quoted price as these tours can fit up to 50 people so if you have only 1 that would be a lot of seats missing on the coach bus.
  
  With regards to the meals, you are provided with Daily buffet breakfast: Breakfasts are always included during the circuits and additional night, commonly it will be a cold buffet. The day of incorporation to the tour, the breakfast is not included. All other meals will be on your own. You will be given time to explore the local restaurants and enjoy your meals during the tour. Your knowledgeable local tour guide can definitely offer you some great dining spots. We suggest budgeting EUR 25.00 for each meals not included on this trip.

You will be notified in advance if the tour is cancelled. In the last year, we haven't had any cancellation of any of our tours. Only small modifications to guarantee the tour.

Why is nearly the entire amount due straight away and not just a deposit with a later final payment date? Can we organise the payments so that each traveller can pay separately?

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of $125 is required to confirm your booking with Europamundo. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Europamundo will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Europamundo" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
