Our Classic SA tour operates subject to minimum 2 persons travelling. Currently we do not have any other guests booked on the 7 Aug 2022 departure as yet. We will gladly be able to assist with quotation for additional pre and post nights accommodation at the properties in johannesburg & Cape Town should you require this.

This was my first bus tour so I was bit surprised by how much time we spent travelling on the bus. Nearly every morning we were on the bus by 8am or earlier and did not arrive at most of our destinations until 4pm . I saw a lot of South Africa which was great as there is a lot to see and overall we travelled approximately 4,300 kilometres. The optional excursions of Kruger and Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park are a must as you will see very little if you go in the bus. The tour company issues a travel journal / booklet with some help hits and advice. The one disappointing issue for the group was the tipping section of the booklet. It said 'Guides travelling with the group expect about R100 to R150 per person per day'. Firstly the word 'expect' should be changed to 'generally appreciate' or something similar. Secondly this tip is high when we asked around (usually R50 per day) and can be a lot if a family is travelling. Finally the group decided to do a collective tip so no one felt under pressure to pay the higher amount and the guide was not happy we were doing it that way. He wanted everyone to give it to him individually.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Cullinan Guided Journeys. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
