    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten February 2025

This trip will cover 5 countries: Peru, Bolivia. Argentina. Uruguay, and Brazil. While it is 51 days it is a combination trip so it is not guaranteed to be the same group or same leader in every country. There is no additional cost for being a solo traveler unless you want to purchase a single supplement. Travel within these countries as a female are fairly safe, just exercise your precautions as you normally would traveling to any country.

which month is better to go between april may or september october ? i just realized this tour doesnt go to patagonia, right ? can you let me know , how many different group tour is this on 51 days ? can you send me the link of each tour ? how many hiking trips total in this trip ( the one where we staying in a camp ) also when we're moving city to city, there will be a tour leader with us,right ? and is it mostly with public bus ?

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten February 2025

We generally recommend traveling during spring (September to November) or fall (March to May). These seasons offer the most comfortable weather—mild temperatures and fewer crowds. This trip does not include Patagonia. This journey is made up of three separate group tours. When moving from city to city, there will always be a tour leader accompanying you to ensure everything runs smoothly.

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten July 2023

Inca Trail permits are sold on request basis only. Once deposit is paid and passport details provided, Intrepid will endeavour to secure a permit for you. If Inca Trail permits are unavailable by the time you book, you can opt to hike the Inca Quarry Trail instead.
