Can I do this tour 12-16 august - can i get a discount with my on the go credit of $2500.00 off this tour. if 12-16 is unavialable can i do 26-30 august

I want to go to greenland - illusiat and Discko bay - can you help me - I am available 15 16 17 18 19 from iceland - on the 20th I need to be at the city hall bust stop 8am to start my iceland tour

is there an availability in august at all. I can go on any date in august early september - what dates are available either side of the 20th august and the 25 august - after or before - i am a single female - wanting to book asap

There is one departure available in August and that is on August 12th. Is that date convenient?

Could you kindly provide info about flight departure time from Keflavik on Day 1 and arrival back in Keflavik on Day 5

The flight from Keflavík airport to Ilulissat usually leaves around 8:00 in the morning, and the flight from Ilulissat to Keflavík airport usually leaves around 11:00 in the morning, arriving at Keflavík Airport around 16:00 in the afternoon.

I'm looking at Ilulissat 5 amazing days for July 2025 23rd

Unfortunately there is no availability for the July 23rd departure but there is for the July 30th departure. The flights will be released on Friday so if you are interested I would recommend that you make the request so that we can confirm before Friday. After that the flights are not guaranteed to be available.

Do any of the boat trips involve having to transfer to a zodiac or equivalent to get from the ship to land?

In all boat tours you will be able to access the boat from the docks

What time does the flight from Keflavik leave?

Flight times from Keflavík to Ilulissat do vary, from morning to the afternoon. We did look up the flight for the date you would like to travel and as of now it is in the morning, but flight times cannot be 100% guaranteed until everything has been confirmed. We suggest arriving in Iceland the day before you are departing to Greenland. Please note that flights to Greenland can changed due to weather conditions, which are unpredictable.

What dates will be available for the summer of 2023?

We will have the dates for the tour along with the prices around October time.

What time does the flight leave Keflavik Airport? I will be traveling from New York, so I need to make sure I book my flight accordingly. How difficult is the 3km hike on day 2?

Unfortunately we just found out that all tours to West-Greenland are now fully booked for Summer of 2022. Hopefully we'll be able to open for bookings for Summer of 2023 soon. For Summer 2022 we have two departures available to South Greenland at this point, 26th of July and 2nd of August if that would be any of your interest?

I need to clarify that my tour guide Alma was great and she was very sweet and helpful. My issues have to do with GJ Travel and the fact that they did not provide me with all the excursions they posted in their itinerary, but they still charged me for the full price of the tour. The itinerary posted had daily excursions for the entire 4 days that I'm in Ilulissat, but my final itinerary had one free day. I was informed ahead of time by the company that the full day excursion to Eqi Glacier do not run at the end of September, and that they would replace the cruise with other activities. They never provided me with alternative activities. I found out that the cruise to the glacier was still operating and the only reason why it was not included in my tour is because Alma was leaving Ilulissat to fly home on the day in question. Alma offered to book the cruise independently for me but it would mean I had to pay for the cruise out of my own pocket when it should have been included in the tour price. GJ Travel should have been honest with me about the whole situation about Alma leaving before my tour was scheduled to end. At the very least, they should have given me a discount and I could pay for the cruise myself separately.Show more

Great experience seeing the colorful houses of these small settlements in Greenland. We also enjoyed seeing whales, glaciers, icebergs, icefjords, and sledge puppies. Visiting with a native Inuit Greenlander in her home was so educational. There we saw narwhal tusks that her brother had given to her after he caught them. We saw all the handcrafted clothing made by her by hand out of sealskin and beads. At the end of that visit, we were able to purchase some of the crafts she had made. Our guide was very helpful at finding vegan food for us, including making the sandwiches herself for our boating days. The only downside was that sometimes neither the guide nor the hotel seemed to know which meals we had already paid for and were expecting to be part of the package. If I hadn't spoken up, we would have paid twice for two dinners at the hotel. But all in all, I highly recommend this tour.Show more
