Our 8-day route takes you across 50-meter suspension bridges over Grey Glacier and to camp spots right beside Dickson Glacier. The guides are brilliant at pointing out Magellanic woodpeckers in the lenga forests. Winter also brings perfect conditions to San Pedro de Atacama, where night skies are at their clearest. You can spot nebulae, star clusters and distant galaxies through professional telescopes. Many of our clients combine both regions in winter, starting in Santiago's wine valleys before heading south to trek the French Valley and finally north to catch the Tatio Geysers steaming in the dawn light.
