From Bangkok to Chiang Mai, our guide’s extensive knowledge of each location – from the ancient temples of Ayutthaya and the historic ruins of Sukhothai to the beautiful landscapes of the Golden Triangle – added so much depth to our journey. Every day was filled with fascinating stories and insights that brought each place to life. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly accommodating and dependable. They made sure all our needs were met, and they were always ready to go above and beyond to make our trip seamless and enjoyable. Their friendly and warm personality created such a comfortable atmosphere, making the experience feel personal and special. The itinerary was well-planned and balanced, allowing us to enjoy both iconic sites and some local hidden gems. One small suggestion would be to provide a bit more water throughout the day, as the heat can be intense. - PHI· November 3rd, 2024The places of the first 4 days were good. The 5th and 6th day was not. Only the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden in Mae Rim was correct. The tour guide replaced the Baan Tipmanee with a mediocre workshop making wood products. I have checked recently the Internet information about Baan Tipmanee realized that. It is not honest to customers. The tour guide should have explained to me and the other customers about the changes. You can check with the other 2 customers participating with me. It is so easy to figure out, from the photos and videos about Baan Tipmanee on the Internet. I am 100% sure that the tour guide didnot take the customers to Baan Tipmanee at all. Tourradar needs to clarify with Destination Services Thailand. The visting to Botanical Garden is not interesitng in comparison with Elephant Sanctuary Chiangmai. If possible, please drop out the Botanical Garden visiting and replace it with elephant tour. I am as a visitor does not mind paying a little more to have a good experience. But the 5th day did ruin my total pleasure a bit. More, the 6th day was nothing. I would expect there is a short activity like 3-4 hrs in the morning and the tour guide can take me straight to the airport for flying out Changmai. I had to wait until 2 pm for picking up to the airport. Furthermore, I think the design of the tour is not good in that sense. That is why I rate 4 out of 5. Tour radar need to clarify and complain to the tour provider (Destination Services Thailand). If next time I book on Tour radar and I saw the Destination Services Thailand will provide me the tour I will cancel immediately ! - RMRaquel· October 24th, 2024-I booked a group tour for six days in Northern Thailand, but I ended up being alone. That's not what I payed for. I found out when we started. Noone told me before, which is not honest. When there's such a major sudden change, the customer should be notified and given the chance to be reimbursed. - The guide gave me very little information. When we arrived to big cities, he never gave me any guidance about what to do there in my free time. Actually he even said that there was nothing to do in Chiang Mai, which is absolutely wrong. Actually on Sunday evening there's a famous street market and he didn't even mention it. - The guide should really improve his English. -The guide mentioned three times the tips. - EBEdward· July 17th, 2024A couple of the hotels were quite unpleasant to stay in. The water from the sink at Phitsanulok was yellow. I felt unclean taking a shower in it. Wienglakor Hotel, in Lampang had a really loud air conditioner. We didn't sleep well there. The hotels in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai were much better. Our guide, Patty, was very nice, but his English was limited. His knowledge was excellent, but he took quite a bit of time to pray and take photos at every temple we visited.
