As much as we would love to have you on board this tour, we have to follow our guidelines as per our tour requirements, meaning we are unable to accommodate guests who are over the age of 59. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We understand that age restrictions can be disappointing, especially when you're eager to embark on an adventure.

yes there are other travellers booked on, we are starting to see an increase in bookings now for January tours too. Definitely grab your spot while you can!

Can you take your time on the hikes or do you need a high level of fitness?

We have a few hikes as part of this tour; Pidurangala Hike - The Pidurangala Hike involves moderate to strenuous physical activity. We set aside 1 1/2 to 2 hours for this hike (all in). Sigiriya Hike - Sigiriya Rock involves a steep ascent with numerous stairs and narrow pathways. We set aside 1 1/2 to 2 hours for this hike (all in).

Can I bring a suitcase? or a backpack is mandatory?

We do recommend you to always bring a backpack instead of suitcases. However, feel free to bring a small suitcase. Our recommendation is to bring a backpack no more than 20kg.

Are they allowed because there are age restrictions on this tour - can you confirm pls?

Sri Lanka Classic 12 Day - One Life Adventures tour will be strictly for travelers between the ages of 18 to 39 years old.

I would more details about this tour. I am over 39 years of age . Am I eligible to join this tour?. I am also a female Solo traveller. Looking to tour and visit Sri Lanka either in February or march 2026. If I cannot join, do you have similar tours?

Our tours are open to travellers aged 18-59, with the average being in the 20-39. That said, we have many wonderful guests in their 40s and 50s who join us and absolutely love the experience, so you'd be very welcome. About half of our travellers also come solo, so you'll be in great company right from the start. February and March are both beautiful times to explore Sri Lanka, so you'd be looking at a perfect time of year to visit.

Weather effect on tour at end of September/October

Departure in September experiences short tropical showers in Sri Lanka. Tours run as planned, with experienced local team adapting activities. This time of year offers lush scenery, fewer crowds, and good wildlife viewing. Safety and experience are top priorities.

can you let me know what the age group is as I prefer to travel with young people my age ( I m 23), . Also is transfer included if I arrive 3-4 days earlier and prebook stay via you.

So the average age of this tour group is currently 36, however, we do have another traveller on board that is 22 years old. This could change with more people booking on board between now and the tour commencing. So if you do wish to book 3/4 nights pre night with us, we would be more than happy to also pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel upon arrival.

I am also interested in couple of your other tours through Sri Lanka in September. Firstly can you let me know what the age group is for the All in one classic small group, 14 days. I am young 24 & would prefer to travel & connect with people my age. Secondly are the entrees included in this tour? If not how much on top of AUD 1991,- is it for that. How many people are usually in those groups and as a solo traveller can I share a room with someone my age / gender. How long does it take for a tour to 100% be confirmed before I book my ticket.

We usually see guests between the age of 21-35 join our tour, however, we do have an age requirement of 18-59. The average age can differ from tour to tour, but in 2024 we did see most groups around the average of 28 years old. All activities that are in the itinerary are included, there will be the option to add additional activities once you have arrived on tour, this can be done with the assistance of your tour guide. The maximum group size for our tours is 22, and for each night you will be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender.

Honestly, this was the best holiday I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to 23 countries! Even before the tour began, Sumudu set the tone by creating a WhatsApp group, making sure we had all the information we needed and answering any questions quickly. He organised airport pickups seamlessly and checked that we were settled into our hotel, which immediately put us at ease. From there, it was a whirlwind adventure. We packed in an incredible range of activities at all times of day: hikes, temples, waterfalls, safaris, historical tours, boat rides, bike rides, tractor rides, train rides, cooking classes, rice paddy farming, tea plantation visit, surfing, and sunset walks. Despite how much we did, everything felt effortless thanks to how organised and flexible Sumudu was. Whatever we wanted, he made it happen and always on a timeline that suited the group. On the rare occasions when the weather disrupted plans, he adjusted the schedule smoothly and expertly. He also gave great recommendations for free time, and there was never any pressure, just genuine care and enthusiasm. He’s a warm, passionate person who clearly loves what he does. We learned so much from him, and his jokes were genuinely funny too. He really embodied a “one life, one family” ethos, bringing the group together while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and easygoing (which I especially appreciated as someone a bit socially awkward). A special mention to our driver, Rooshan, who was always early, always smiling, and completely reliable. And to Ruveen, who went above and beyond cleaning the bus, carrying luggage, holding umbrellas, taking photos- always with a smile. The balance of activities was perfect: active time, downtime, and group time all felt just right. We were never on the road for more than 2–3 hours at a time, which made the pace really enjoyable. The food was absolutely incredible. Every place Sumudu took us was outstanding, and I found myself going back for seconds every time. There were also convenient daily stops for ATMs, currency exchange, and snacks. Overall, this was a truly memorable experience. I couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking for a wholesome, well-organised, and unforgettable tour of beautiful Sri Lanka.Show more

My first adventure with OneLife Tours took me to Sri Lanka, and I'm grateful for the chance to have had such an expert guide in Sameera. Infinitely knowledgeable on local culture, customs, wisdom and history, it was a true pleasure journeying with him and my new travel-family for the last 12 days. Journeying was primarily on a comfortable air-conditioned bus, with amenable hotel stays the whole trip long. Sameera facilitated access to incredible sights, including world heritage and UNESCO listed spaces across the country. It's clear OneLife has worked hard to forge local partnerships with their activity and accomodation providers; many of whom proudly display the OneLife symbol on their doors. It's great to know the money you spend with the team directly invests back to the community you spend in. Some of the activities encouraged you to learn more about local farming practices; be mindful these occur in more tourist-driven environments as opposed to traditional full-scale spaces and come with an 'exit via the gift shop' option (depending on how deep/detailed you'd like to dive in to the experience, and how you feel about impulse buys). The genuine authentic exploration, however, will live in me for years to come and I'm so grateful to the OneLife Team for crafting such an accessible and comprehensive experience in the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.Show more

From lush green, mountainous landscapes all the way down to wild beaches, incredible wild life, rich culture and spirutual journeys, delicious food and friendly people. With this tour you will experience it all and much more! The tour is well organised, everything ran extremely smoothly; and I absolutely liked the restriction on the age-range. We had a really great group experience! Our guides (Sumudu, Suresh and Opal) took very good care of us. They made us feel safe and always very patiently answered questions and helped out with special requests.   Our tours are open to travellers aged 18-59, with the average being in the 20-39. That said, we have many wonderful guests in their 40s and 50s who join us and absolutely love the experience, so you'd be very welcome. About half of our travellers also come solo, so you'll be in great company right from the start. February and March are both beautiful times to explore Sri Lanka, so you'd be looking at a perfect time of year to visit.

  Being a year over is absolutely fine. As long as you're feeling fit and comfortable with the walking during the tour and you don't mind that most of the group will be younger, you're more than welcome to join us.

can you let me know what the age group is as I prefer to travel with young people my age ( I m 23), . Also is transfer included if I arrive 3-4 days earlier and prebook stay via you.

  So the average age of this tour group is currently 36, however, we do have another traveller on board that is 22 years old. This could change with more people booking on board between now and the tour commencing. So if you do wish to book 3/4 nights pre night with us, we would be more than happy to also pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel upon arrival.

I am also interested in couple of your other tours through Sri Lanka in September. Firstly can you let me know what the age group is for the All in one classic small group, 14 days. I am young 24 & would prefer to travel & connect with people my age. Secondly are the entrees included in this tour? If not how much on top of AUD 1991,- is it for that. How many people are usually in those groups and as a solo traveller can I share a room with someone my age / gender. How long does it take for a tour to 100% be confirmed before I book my ticket.

  We usually see guests between the age of 21-35 join our tour, however, we do have an age requirement of 18-59. The average age can differ from tour to tour, but in 2024 we did see most groups around the average of 28 years old. All activities that are in the itinerary are included, there will be the option to add additional activities once you have arrived on tour, this can be done with the assistance of your tour guide. The maximum group size for our tours is 22, and for each night you will be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 22nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with One Life Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and One Life Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "One Life Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
