Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Negombo
Your guide meets you at the airport, and from there it's a tuk tuk ride through Negombo's tree-lined streets to your hotel. The afternoon is completely open, so you can relax, head to the beach, or just settle in. By evening, you'll join the group for a welcome dinner and drinks to kick things off.

- Day 2
Negombo to Sigiriya
After breakfast, you'll hop on a private bus toward Sigiriya with a stop at the Dambulla Caves. The painted walls and stone Buddha statues there create a spiritual atmosphere worth taking time to walk through. Once you reach Sigiriya and check in, you'll hike up to Pidurangala Buddhist monastery at sunset for views of Sigiriya Rock before tackling the main climb tomorrow.

- Day 3
Sigiriya
An early start gets you climbing Sigiriya Rock, where you'll see ancient palace ruins, wall paintings, the mirror wall, and those famous stone lion paws marking the path. The summit gives you unrivalled views and a real sense of history. Lunch is a traditional meal cooked by a local family, and the afternoon is yours to rest by the pool or head out on a safari in Minneriya National Park to see wild elephants.

- Day 4
Sigiriya to Kandy
Heading south from Sigiriya toward Kandy, you'll stop at an organic spice garden to find out where your favourite spices actually come from. Then a local chef walks you through making dhal, chicken curry, fried cashew coconut sambal, and poppadoms in a hands-on cooking class. After checking into Kandy, you'll take a tuk tuk tour through this bustling city to get oriented.

- Day 5
Kandy to Ella
Breakfast overlooking Kandy's hills, then you'll visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth before traveling into the hill country past tea plantations. At a functioning tea factory, you'll see how 7 different types of tea come from the same plant. The train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella is the highlight, offering 180-degree views of plantations, waterfalls, lakes, and villages as it winds through mountains. After checking in, head into Ella for dinner and drinks.

Ella
This day is completely free in Ella. You can visit one of the many Ayurveda massage parlours to try a thousand-year-old relaxation technique, or explore other activities around town. Your tour guide can suggest what works best for you.

- Day 7
Ella to Udawalawe National Park
The morning has you hiking Little Adam's Peak and visiting the Nine Arch Bridge, then you'll journey out of the mountains and grab lunch on the way to Udawalawe National Park. A 4x4 safari gets you close to wild elephants, and you'll check into a safari glamping site for the night.

- Day 8
Udawalawe to Mirissa
Leaving the campsite, you'll head down to the beach in Mirissa where the afternoon is free. Rent a surfboard, spend time in the sun, or just relax by the ocean. Later, head to Coconut Tree Hill for sunset.

- Day 10
Mirissa to Galle
Start with a 12km cycle through the lush southern paddy fields, stopping at a local school along the way. In the afternoon, walk around the historic Dutch Fort in Galle, browse for souvenirs, and try some of the best ice cream in Sri Lanka. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Galle to Colombo
You'll spend the morning on the beach, then visit the memorial for the 2004 Tsunami. After that, head to the Madu River for a boat ride through the mangrove forests where you'll spot birds and fishing villages on a peaceful journey. In the afternoon, drive to Colombo for your final night.
