Standard bikes for this trip are Patrol 091, Trek X-Caliber 7 and Dominate A-One Comp. Helmets are mandatory and must be brought from home. Recommended cycling gear includes padded shorts, eyewear, cycling gloves, and stiff-soled cycling shoes.

Regarding our Cycling Indonesia's Islands, there are no e-bikes unfortunately. This trip is graded as moderate as the vast majority of the rides are moderate with mostly flat terrain. There are, however, two potentially very challenging days. The harder rides include the ride to the top of Batur volcano (day 3) and, especially, on the ride going up Mt. Ijen (Day 7). The daily elevations are listed on each trip day so you can be the judge of your ability here. There is, however, always the opportunity to jump in the bus at any point if necessary so there is no pressure to complete these two rides.

He went above and beyond to give us such a wonderful time and ensured that everything ran like clockwork! The itinerary gave a very good overview of Vietnam as well as insight into the Vietnamese culture. Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Exodus Adventure Travels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
