  Really well planned and enjoyable first trip to India. Lots of amazing buildings to see and some special memories made. One minor disappointment was that we wanted to immerse ourselves in the local culture and eat at local places, but our guides seemed set on taking us to restaurants where they had ‘arrangements’. Also tipping and monument costs were quite unclear but expected everywhere so the eventual cost of the holiday was a lot more than originally planned due to unexpected charges.Show more

As a solo female traveller, I always felt comfortable and safe thanks to the driver and guides, who truly went above and beyond to take care of me. India’s hospitality is truly unmatched.   The itinerary itself is flexible and I appreciate that the company altered the locations to suite my personal travel needs. All the guides in every city were really great and I felt my guide in Jaipur went above and beyond to ensure I had a lovely time in his city. Be mindful that the locations the driver and guides suggest / take you to outside of the monuments are typically overpriced as the driver or guide recieve compensation from the business if you purchase anything. For this reason if you would like to do specific shopping or try specific food, it is best to do your own research before going. The main reason for my rating is my driver, Amar made me extremely uncomfortable as a solo female traveller. He would call me his 'Canadian wife', would stalk my social media, liking photos that were over 10 years old, saving photos of me to his phone, creating his own slideshows with music and even changing his WhatsApp photo to a photo of him and I with a love heart filter. It was to the point my guide in Jaipur said something to him. As you can imagine being solo in a car for hours on end inbetween destinations was not the easiest nor comfortable for me. I have brought my concerns up with the company who I hope have handled the situation so that no future woman would be made to feel uncomfortable in the same way.Show more

  The tour was short but I was able to see the top sites in the North of India. Shoutout to the tour guides in Agra (Amit) and the tour guide in Jaipur (Salendra) for sharing their knowledge in an engaging way. The hotel was best in Delhi but the tour guide was disappointing as it only took me in the mosque. Always insist in seeing all the sites they listed in the tour. Special shotout to Ram my driver who took me around. He was very respectful and professional even if English was a bit tricky for him. Overall, enjoyed my stay but some things can be improved.Show more

  The tour did what it intended to do. We got to see all the point of interest. You get same driver the entire trip but with different tour guide in each city. Our driver was nice and he seemed proud of his home. I did have to wait for over 30 minutes for airport pick up, but my flight got in at 3am, so tough for him, I get it. Our guides at Delhi and Agra were good. They told interesting stories and facts and show you the best spots. but Jaipur guide was horrible. He looked disinterested and at each place spend 2 minutes to tell us some facts then told us to meet him when we’re done. We had to actively ask him questions to prompt information from him. So we don’t really know much about Jaipur. He was also the only guide who sat there waiting for his tip at end of the day, extremely tacky. As part of tour we were taken to carpet place in Delhi and a marble place in Agra. Awkward but expected. To note most days the tour ended in afternoon, so you have free time and have to figure things out yourself. Oh, we upgraded our hotel to 4 stars and am very happy we did. Hotel in Delhi was a Japanese hotel and we got a two bed/two bath suite which was nice. But it was run down and gives me a little icky feeling and one night water was not hot. the Japanese breakfast was excellent.Show more
