Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and connect with your Travel Director and the rest of the group. The afternoon includes an orientation tour that shows you both the city's historic roots and its contemporary side. Later, everyone gathers for dinner to get the Swiss adventure started.

Zurich to St. Moritz
A scenic train ride takes you through Chur and into St. Moritz, a sophisticated resort town with Lake St. Moritz as its backdrop. You have the option this afternoon to take one of Switzerland's most spectacular rail routes over the Bernina Pass. Dinner's included at your hotel tonight.

- Day 3
St. Moritz to Zermatt
Today you board the Glacier Express, one of Europe's most talked-about train journeys from St. Moritz to Zermatt. The route crosses hundreds of bridges and hits the Oberalp Pass at 2,044 m (6,700 ft) while you watch the alpine landscape roll by. Lunch happens on board as you pass lakes and glaciers. Once in Zermatt, there's a brief orientation tour of the town sitting at the foot of the Matterhorn.

Zermatt
You've got the full day to take in Zermatt's mountain air and views at whatever pace suits you. There's an optional trip up to Klein Matterhorn if you want some of the most incredible mountain vistas available in the region.

- Day 5
Zermatt to Geneva
The train takes you to Geneva, and from there you head to La Fermée Enchantée for lunch on a working sustainable farm. You'll meet a beekeeper and learn about their work with bees and biodiversity. Back in Geneva, there's an orientation tour covering the Old Town, Jet d'Eau, and the Flower Clock. After that, the city is yours to explore or you could take an optional lake cruise to see lakeside villages.

Geneva to Lucerne
You travel from Geneva along the Golden Pass route with a stop in Interlaken, positioned between three famous peaks: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The views of the Bernese Oberland are outstanding as you follow the Brünig Pass into Lucerne. There's a tour of Lucerne's well-known sites like Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument, then free time to explore. An optional Swiss folklore show with fondue dinner and yodeling lessons is available if that interests you.

Lucerne gives you a relaxed day to wander around the lakeside town with mountains surrounding it. Check out the medieval streets for Swiss chocolate or take an optional carriage ride through one of the country's most beautiful mountain villages. Before the Farewell dinner this evening, you'll have time to soak in the town's calm, charming atmosphere.

Lucerne to Zurich
You'll say goodbye to Switzerland and the friends you've made on this trip. Your Travel Director provides train tickets from Lucerne to Zurich Airport, which you can use whenever works for your schedule. A coach transfer to the airport is also an option if you'd prefer that instead.
