    The cost for this trip is $4,074.00 per person based on twin room but, for a single room it will cost $5,259.00. If you prefer to be alone in a room, it will be a single room but, if you want to share a room same with your gender it will be twin share room.

  I am trying to find out the difference between the Contrast of Italy tour and the Great Italian cities tour. We want to be able to visit Vatican city with fast passes and tours

    The Great Italian Cities tour travels 2 countries and 8 cities (Italy, Vatican City, Rome, Vatican, Pompeii, Assisi, Florence, Pisa, Bologna, and Venice) while the Contrasts of Italy tour travels 2 countries and 5 cities (Italy, Vatican City, Rome, Vatican, Florence, Pisa and Venice).

  Do we have to move our luggage from train to hotel to bus, etc?

    The coach takes the luggage to the next city. You have to carry your own luggage onto the trains.

  The tour advertises 10 days, 2 countries and 5 cities; besides Italy, which other country do you visit? On Day 2 when you visit the Colosseum, will we be able to go inside of he Colosseum for a tour or is that a separate tour which we must pay for?

    The country would be Italy and the Vatican City, since it is considered the smallest country in the world. A visit to the Colosseum is no longer included on the trip. Guests will enjoy a guided visit to the Forum, followed by an in-depth walking experience around the walls of the Colosseum.

    The three of you can share a room; we call it a triple room. The price is $3080.00 per person for adults and $2780.00 for children. However, it is on request; once booked, it takes 3–4 business days to confirm whether it is available or not.

  Does this tour package include 9 nights Starting in Rome 10/9/23 and ending with a night in Venice 10/17/23? I'm thinking of getting to Rome the morning of 10/8/23. Would I be able to get my room a day early and also get transport from the airport to the hotel?

    The price on the first page is $2,835. When going to pay, it's $3,105. What's up?

    Yes, it includes 9 nights starting from Rome and ends in Venice. In addition, $2,835 is the price range from other dates available, for your preferred date it's $3,105 per person. Furthermore, we can book you a pre night stay if you're arriving a day early, also we can book transfers, we will be needing your flight details to check if you're eligible for the complimentary transfers.

  One person in our party walks very slowly, and would not be able to keep up with the group on any walking tour. Can this be accommodated on the contrast of Italy tour?

    On all our tours, you'll always need to be able to get on and off the coach without assistance. On this particular trip, there are some additional things you need to know, and places that will require a significant amount of walking as part of our tours and experiences. In Venice, we explore the city on foot, walking over bridges and in places some uneven surfaces/stairs as well as getting on and off boats. In Florence, there is a 1h15min walking tour to explore the city sights. In Rome, it is a 2.5-hour sightseeing experience at the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel/St.Peters, including some stairs. In both Florence and Venice, our hotel is located a short stroll to the train station, and you'll need to carry your hand-luggage during the walk.

  Do you ever change hotels? The hotels in Florence and Venice did not get very good reviews; from cleanliness to air conditioning not working well and more. This prevents us from doing this tour which is unfortunate since this is the only one offering Raul's from city to city.

    Sometimes we do have hotel changes on our itineraries. If there is a hotel change, only if we are informed in advance by our operations team, we would notify you as per the change(s). Otherwise I have seen the updated hotel lists within the e-documents that are sent about 3 weeks approximately before the start of the trip as long as it didn't effect the start and/or end hotel stays. So far these would be the names of the hotels for each area as listed via the Trafalgar website's itinerary page for Contrasts of Italy: - Rome (3x nights) = Grand Palatino - Florence (3x nights) = Ambasciatori - Venice (3x nights) = Principe
