Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Athens to Delphi to Mount Parnassus

    You'll meet your group and tour leader, then head to Delphi to check out the archaeological site with a professional guide. See the Oracle and Museum, and after lunch, you'll walk around the traditional village of Arachova sitting at the foot of Mt. Parnassos. From there, it's on to your overnight spot in a wooden chalet right in the heart of Mt. Parnassus.

  2. Day 2

    Mount Parnassus

    This morning after breakfast, you'll explore Mount Parnassus National Park and pick your activity for the day. Options include mountain biking, horseback riding, archery, checking out mythical caves, or learning about the bauxite mining process. It's your choice depending on what interests you.

  3. Day 3

    Mount Parnassus to Karpenisi

    You'll depart for Karpenski, known as the 'Hellenic Alps' or 'Switzerland of Greece', and it becomes your base for the next 3 days. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit the village of Korischades and go horseback riding through pristine fir forests.

  4. Day 4

    Panta Vrechi Canyon

    Your day starts at Panta Vrechi canyon with its impressive rock formations and diverse plant life. You'll do river trekking with chances to swim under waterfalls (bring waterproof clothes and a swimming suit). After that, you'll drive over Kaliakouda peak to Megalo Chorio where you have free time to explore the village and local shops.

    Prousos Monastery - Mavri Spilia Gorge

    After breakfast, you'll visit the historic Prousos Monastery, which sits on a steep rock above the Karpenisiotis river canyon. Then you'll follow a narrow mountain trail through bridges and waterfalls to hike the Mavri Spilia gorge. By evening, you're in the village of Prousos where you can stop by a local butcher shop known for high-quality cold cuts made without preservatives.

    Karpenisi to Athens

    You'll depart for Athens after breakfast and stop for coffee and lunch at the coastal town of Kammena Vourla before arriving in Athens late afternoon. From there, depending on your flight timing, you'll either head straight to the airport or spend your last night out enjoying the city's nightlife.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
