I looked at this tour on the Intrepid website and there was only one spot, now it looks like an option through this website, tourradar.com. Guess I'm confused… before I book, I need confirmation that this tour is available for two people for 8 days beginning March 28, 2026

Unfortunately, our 28MAR2026 departure is now fully booked. However, we do have availability for 2 on the departures before and after. If you are flexible in dates at all please let us know and we can hold 2 spots complimentary for you for up to 48 hours.

What is the cost for a single supplement for the March 14th, May 16th, and May 23rd departure dates?

For the Costa Rica Experience (8 destinations) trip, the single supplement is USD 420 per person, regardless of the departure date.

Can we book this tour for one large group with 10 adults and 7 kids?

To better assist you in finding the perfect tour, could you please share whether you're interested in a private trip? Additionally, it would be helpful to know the ages of the children in your group and your budget per person.

Which tours in January still have availability?

We have 4 spots available on the trip Costa Rica Experience departing on 17 January.

Would this be possible to add extra beach days at the end before San Jose?

As the tour begins and ends in San Jose, we would only be able to book pre or post tour accommodations at the start and end hotels. We would not be able to assist in making arrangements in Manuel Antonio region and this would have to be arranged independently by the travel.

Does the tour in Costa Rica for 9 days include three meals a day or just 3 meals the whole trip?

On this specific itinerary there are 3 meals included for the full duration of the tour. Breakfast is included on Day 3, Lunch is included on Day 6 and dinner is included on the homestay visit on Day 2.

Do I have to fly to Costa Rica at an additional expense? And where does this trip start from, can I leave from Ottawa, Ontario?

All pricing listed online will not include international flights to and from the starting points and would be an additional cost and arranged by the traveler. The tour begins and ends at the Urban Green Hotel in San Jose.

What kinds of transportation are included on this tour?

The home stay experience is a bit too much and not the best experience. I’d prefer may be to visit but not stay and do nothing for the whole day. I used to like Interpid but I feel they might have become too corporate and are compromising the actual experience for tourist. Costa Rica as a country is beautiful. I wish the iteneray was better and got more for what you already paid for. Some days we even paid for transportation. Ridiculous.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
