The only place where the size of suitcases might matter is at Khao Sok National Park, where big suitcases are limited because they'll need to take a long tail boat to the floating bungalow. However, our suppliers have storage at the mainland, so you can leave your larger bags there along with other guests.

Are there airports near the end destination of the tour for returning flights?

The closest airport is Koh Samui which is a 45 minute ferry ride away from Koh Phangan. Ferries run regularly. You will likely need to go through a hub city as there are no direct flights. Alternatively you can book a one way ticket back to Bangkok.

He was incredibly kind, attentive and funny, and made sure everyone was always comfortable and taken care of. On my last day, he helped me arrange my transportation to my next accommodation and ensured I got there. He was super informative and would give explanations about Thai culture and history, which I really appreciated. Although we saw many nice places on the tour, I think that my main highlight was having Scotty as our guide! He was such a positive presence, and I would definitely do another tour with him again! Overall, the trip was an amazing way to start my travels. I am solo travelling Southeast Asia for weeks and booked the trip to start off my journey. He cared about each and every one of us making sure we were all okay and having the best time !!!! He gave us really good advice before day trips. And was also good and conveying historical information at the temples. The energy he radiated around the group was superb too. I so wish I stayed for the full days tour it was honestly incredible. At both Khao Sok and Bottle Beach the types of accommodation vary according to availability. While you will have your own room if you book the single supplement, some suppliers offer only rooms with a shared bathroom. Unfortunately I can't currently advise what will be the case for your specific tour dates.
