Unfortunately, travelers need to be between the ages of 18 and 39 in order to participate in Epic Southeast Asia: River Cruises & Karst Mountains. We would recommend that you look at our Southeast Asia Encompassed tour since it has no age restriction, and it is our longest tour we offer for all ages. If you book 3 or more tours at the same time, you will get a 5% discount on each tour that is not already on sale. Should you and a friend book, you can select each other as roommates. Should they not book with you, and you do not wish to add the single supplement, you will be paired with another solo same-gendered traveler.

Yes the age restrictions are strict, however there is a similar tour that we offer called the Southeast Asia Encompassed - this is open to all ages.

What are the visa requirements?

I'm interested In your 40 day tour and I'm wanting to book it. But I'm having trouble with my ear at the moment. My Dr has said it might be better to push back the date I'm interested in. But tbh I'm wanting to go then. I'm wondering if I have to push the date back of that's at all possible.

You can amend your tour date up to 31 days before departure, however the new date that you choose will be subject to availability.

Is the tour guaranteed to depart if I book?

We operate guaranteed departures so as long as one person is confirmed on a departure, it will be going ahead as planned.

My girlfriend and I are keen on joining the 40 day tour of South East Asia. We are wondering if there is a possibility of us being put in a private room together and what the extra cost would be. Also once finishing are you left in Ko Tao? We are hoping to fly back to the UK from Phuket on 26th/27th June. Do you know of the best transport to get there?

Unfortunately we do not have the option to offer private rooms in many of the stops, so it would be in same gender multi share for those nights. We offer an add on of 'Bangkok Express: Ko Tao to Bangkok', so you could easily get back to Bangkok to fly back to the UK from there.

What kind of accommodations can I expect?

Is it possible to board in Luang Prabang and continue to the end

  Unfortunately we do not have the option to offer private rooms in many of the stops, so it would be in same gender multi share for those nights. We offer an add on of 'Bangkok Express: Ko Tao to Bangkok', so you could easily get back to Bangkok to fly back to the UK from there.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
