Yes, you will have a full guided Taj Mahal tour on day 3 - this lasts around 2-3hrs. The Dhulabagh Camp does have electricty.

No, you don't need to bring sleeping bags, it's a proper bed we sleep in, in the accommodation.

Could you please confirm the exact time and location where the tour will start on March 25, as well as when and where it will finish? I would like to have a clear idea of the schedule to be sure.

The tour starts and ends at the Hotel Singh Sahib. The welcome meeting on day 1 is usually at 6pm. On the last day, you can leave anytime as nothing is planned for the day, the hotel check out is usually at 11am.

No meals are included in this tour. Travelling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. Vegetarians will be able to find a huge range of different foods - India is vegetarian heaven.

I am interested in joining on this tour for the 23rd of February. I was wondering if there is a certain time that I should plan to arrive on the 23rd, or is the transfer available anytime? Most the flights available to me arrive around 23:30, so in this case, do you think it would be better if I plan for arrival the day before on the 22nd? My last question is that I was wondering if there is an additional fee for solo travellers?

Arrival on the 23rd is at anytime there is a welcome meeting that will take place usually around 5-6pm that day. This can be missed ideally best to arrive prior so that you can meet your fellow travellers and tour leader. The transfer will pick you up at anytime. As for traveling solo no their is no fee for being a solo traveller. We do have a fee if you want to have a room to yourself as opposed to sharing a room with another traveller of the same Gender.

Are suitcases allowed on the trip or are soft bags preferred?

You'll be carrying your own luggage so it's up to you what you bring on this trip.

I am a experienced traveller, with trips to most of the world with my wonderful wife, but at my age and going to India for the first time I was a little concerned. My concern was gone in minutes when I met "G" our CEO , for this Golden Triangle trip,. G , was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and he never stops,he was like the energizer bunny. Folks I just can't say enough about "G", india is so chaotic and he was always near to support in anyway necessary. Yes, there were a few glitches, but this is india, and to be expected, but it was the way he so easily handled them for so at times people on the trip weren't even aware a problem had occurred. He was THE MAN!!!. The pace was fast and we crammed a lot of history and culturalShow more

- For any tour departing before September 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
