We booked on the Irish wonder tour from 27 Sept to 5th Oct 2026, but have been told it is cancelled. Is this correct?

The Irish Discovery departure on 27 September has been withdrawn and is not going ahead.

Just wondering about people with a disability traveling with the company. I use a walker for stability I can generally get myself on and off busses and wondering about the step up on the bus.

The Company do not provide personal services or individual assistants to trip participants. Our staff and the Service Providers are not required or trained to assist with personal tasks. This includes eating, dressing, toileting, lifting or pushing a wheelchair, walking, getting on or off transportation, or other personal needs. If you need such assistance, we strongly recommend you have a physically-able companion accompany you. You must be able to walk up/down steps and on ramps without a wheelchair or walker. Motorcoach entrances and gangways/ramps may not be wide enough or equipped to accommodate these items. Furthermore, side by side docking with other river cruise ships may require guests to climb and descend stairs to cross over other vessels to disembark and embark. The Company may allow collapsible wheelchairs that fit within the restrictions (1030mm/40.55″ length x 555mm/21.85″ width) when travel with a wheelchair is disclosed to The Company. You are responsible for storage (e.g. in your room) and maintenance of any permissible wheelchair.

Is it possible to get a triple share room on this tour? We are travelling with our adult son and it would be nicer for us to be all together?

A triple room would be available. There would also be a discount of NZD $150 per person.

I use a walking stick, are our bags delivered to our rooms and back to the coach like they did on our Cosmos tour through Europe?

For this tour, porterage is not included. You may be able to ask hotel staff for assistance, though we can't guarantee that these facilities will be available.

Is the full price required when booking or is it done via installments?

Deposit will be needed to hold in the booking and final payment will be due 60 days prior to departure of the tour. This can be paid in instalments.

Was wondering if it was possible to do another activity outside of one of the pre-scheduled ones (Waterford crystal tour) on this tour? My 3 fellow travelers would do the scheduled one, and I would actually hit a golf course five miles away from Waterford (Dunmore East)? Then meet up with my group immediately after...is that doable?

Yes, you are welcome to venture off on your own then meet back up with your group. Please be sure to inform your Tour Director once you are on tour.

Hotels were too far away from the actual cities to do any extra sightseeing in our own time. Some of the cities like Galway we got there on a Sunday morning had to leave by 11.30 hardly any shops etc were open not enough time there at all was definitely disappointed. Could have done with another pub night organised on the tour. Also tour manager did not do an introduction of the people on the bus which I have had on other tours.Show more
