Its hard to give an exact level on how much walking with be done. Each day will be filled with included activities or optional excursions. I would say this tour could be pretty manageable with a walker. Once a reservation is created we can put in a request for any specific days that you may be concerned about the exertion levels. Also, we do recommend having someone with you for assistance as no Globus representative can help assist travelers.

This is a fully guided tour and the transportation will be by motor coach. We finalize tour arrangements approximately 30 days prior to departure and the hotel list is confirmed at that time. The hotels listed below are those hotels we intend to use: Nashville - Gaylord Opryland Resort, Memphis - The Guest House at Graceland, Greenwood - The Alluvian Hotel, Natchez - Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel, Lafayette - DoubleTree by Hilton Lafayette, New Orleans - Sheraton New Orleans.

The boat trip on this tour when it is in Lafayette will be in the Atchafalaya Basin. The tour is not on an airboat, but the other type that holds 25-48 people. This tour will take place on day 8 on the way to New Orleans.

Do you have a stateroom or suite that accommodates 3 adults?

Typically, triple rooms are the same size as twin bedded rooms and have beds to accommodate three people. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be three separate beds. If there are only two beds, a rollaway bed may be requested but also cannot be guaranteed. In North America it is uncommon for a room to have three beds; cots/rollaway beds are not always available due to regional fire regulations. If clients do not wish to share a bed, they should book a Twin and a Single accommodation.

  The length of time you will be on the motor coach will vary. You will be provided a more detailed itinerary with the miles you will travel each day. There will be a good bit of walking but our Tour Director is usually really good with keeping the group at a safe pace.
