I'm a lone traveller so does that make a difference to the price or is it twin share?

We sell our trips on a twin share basis. If you are a solo traveller, we would pair you up with a traveller of the same gender for the trip, where it is twin share. In Swakopmund, we stay in backpacker's (hostels) or small guest houses. There is an option to have a single room at an additional fee AUD469.00

I am planning to travel to South Africa between the end of March and the end of May 2026 and would love to join your 21-day tour in April 2026. April would be my preferred month, but I would also be available in March or May if needed. I would first like to ask whether there are still places available during that time. After the trip, I am planning to support the EHRA organization in Namibia. Therefore, I was wondering if it would be possible to leave the tour at the airport in Windhoek at the end of the journey.

We have the following dates available in April 2026: Sun, 12 Apr - Sat, 02 May and Sun, 19 Apr - Sat, 09 May. If you wish to depart in Windhoek we would recommend you book the below trip instead as this is the first section of the tour from Cape Town to Windhoek.

What are the typical group sizes on the tour?

What are the visa requirements for Zimbabwe if I'm traveling on a Canadian passport?

Travelers with a Canadian passport may need to obtain a double entry visa for Zimbabwe or might need to pay for a visa to enter Zimbabwe more than once.

All accommodation is included on the trip, this is detailed in the itinerary breakdown: Participation camping (14 nts), permanent tented camp (1 nt), guesthouses (2 nts, multi-share with up to 10 people), basic bush camping (2 nts), hostel (1 nt, multi-share with 3 people).

Do I need to apply for visas for these African countries by myself in advance? Or do you provide a group tour and I pay for it? Is there wifi in the car? If not, how do I use the Internet? Is there hot water for bathing when camping? Will you pick me up when I arrive at the city airport on the first day?

It is our traveller's responsibility to research which visas they require to enter each country. I'm certainly not speaking for myself alone when I say that we couldn't have been luckier with the guides than with these two! They were great, looked out for us and were always in a good mood.
