Itinerary

Day 1
Misol Ha - Palenque
You're getting an early start at 5:00 a.m. with a 1.5-hour transfer to reach Agua Azul cascades. Once you get there, you'll have free time to swim and explore the turquoise pools and surrounding area. From there, you'll head to Misol Ha, which is Mexico's longest waterfall, so there's plenty to see and photograph. Later in the day you'll visit the Palenque archaeological ruins before heading back to your hotel in either Palenque village or San Cristobal, depending on where you're staying.

We had a very good experience with Marvelous Travels. The tour was perfect to discover the area from Mexico City to Yucatan in 2 weeks. The program included a good mix of nature experience and discovery of various cities. The transport/ pick up was always on time (beside of the night bus from Oaxaca to St. Cristobal de las Casas). Olivia was a very cautious tour operator and was always reachable and calm in cases of any problems. We can recommend this tour and are happy to have made such good experiences in Mexico!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Marvelus Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
