Trip date: August 2023 - TBTerry· November 26th, 2023Needs improvement: third party bus arrived, Wazmo. Lost 5-10 minutes looking for Marvelus, which website booking said was company doing the tour. Was first on the bus, after 1 hour, traffic, turns, picking up others, we had only travelled 2 miles, per Google maps. Finally proceeded to drive to first destination after sitting on bus 1.5 hours. The bus had no shocks in the back. Felt like we were riding a bucking bronco, there are a lot of topes in Mexico City. People consistently moved from back to front, until front was full, Bus had approximately 18 seats. Good: Educational. The guide had good information to share, even though her accent was very thick. Was accommodating to the guests. First stop at 3 cultures was a sad point in Mexico history. Would never have been able to find on my own. Felt like the stops at the basilica and Teotihuacan were rushed. Lunch was fine, but additional cost to guest. The additional admission fee to the pyramids should be made clearer when booking. Several guest were surprised. At last stop it appeared that the guide offered Uber to 2 couples, but wasn’t offered to all. Return ride was shorter, fewer people on bus. For the price paid, trip was fine. I did see tours to the pyramids offered at the zocalo offered for less money. Around 300 pesos lower. Didn’t know if it included pickup from hotel, or other destinations.Show moreTrip date: November 2023
