    Adriana

    Asked on January 21st, 2026

is there free time? should we travel with the others on this small tour?

    Tour Details
    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

Free time is always built into our itineraries to allow our travelers to do/see the things that they want. Typically our days are structured with travel/included activities in the morning / early afternoon and the from there the group has free time. If we are in a city / town for more than 1 day we tend to have a full free day offered. This can vary depending on the itinerary and activities included but more or less this is the structure that we follow.

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten November 2024

Group size is Min 1 - Max 12. While travelling with us you'll experience the vast array of wonderful food available in the world. Your group leader or local representative will be able to suggest restaurants to try during your trip. To give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat, generally not all meals are included in the trip price. This also gives you more budgeting flexibility. As a rule our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. If you have dietary requirements and/or food allergies, please let your booking agent know prior to departure.

  • T

    Tina

    Asked on October 28th, 2024

Are we expected to handle our own luggage? How do we get to train station and or bus stop?

    Transport
    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten October 2024

Yes, you'll be required to carry your own luggage between train stations and hotels, which can include going up and down multiple flights of stairs, and across cobblestones. Train stations often don't have lifts available. So we recommend packing light.
