Overall the trip exceeded my expectations. It was our first bus tour and we were a bit afraid of the early starts to the days and the amount of energy it would require to keep up the pace of hiking around to see the sites. Surprisingly we had no trouble and the tour guides were all very knowledgeable, imparting interesting historical facts as we traveled through the different towns, cities, countryside, and countries. We learned lots, met people who we will try to keep in touch with and saw many sites that we will hold the memories of to recall and enjoy for the rest of our lives. Best of all…someone else did the driving!Show more

The tour guides were good, but the tour did not include highlight sights. It was left to the individuals to find those sites and explore on their own. Two notetiful sites were Westminstral Cathedral and St Patrick's Cathedral. Also, there was no attempt to introduce the tour participants to each other. It didn't help that during the 14 day trip, I was put with 3 different groups. Never had that experience before.Show more
