  We chose a short tour so that we could travel north to Sapporo without having to make day to day arrangements. The tour was a really good way to achieve this. We had a small tour bus with 34 people so it wasnt as crowded as it could have been. The guides were very knowledgeable and took the time to inform us about Japan culture, history and local information about shops, restaurants and specialities of each prefecture. We certainly would not have got this level of insight on our own. Our guide Ken was extremely well prepared with so much background and fun facts. Both guides carefully planned the daily activities, and we rarely had crowds, which was great. They included some really nice elements such as the zen meditation at a temple and a Shinto blessing, both.of which were wonderful. Things to be prepared for: most of the travel group will be spanish speaking, so you may feel isolated within the group and cultures / group expectations may be different. Sometimes there are less good stops such as the shopping visit outside of Saporro and the tea ceremony had no ceremony at all. Some of the hotel lunches provided were less good. Overall we were pleased to have done the tour and had lots of experiences along the way. The guide was really approachable and was happy to help with solving problems along the way such as members of the group needing medications.Show more

At Europamundo, we prioritize transparency; hence, we have clearly stated on both TourRadar and in our terms and conditions that our overland routes, whether in a group or private setting, unless otherwise noted, include the presence of tour leaders (English-speaking) and local guides, if specified. Due to the global nature of Europamundo, groups may be bilingual based on the number of passengers, and services may be provided in a bilingual manner, usually in English and Spanish. This can involve either two tour leaders, one for each language, or a single tour leader explaining in both languages. All our guides hold an English certificate of at least B2 (Upper intermediate) to ensure that they can fluently narrate history, engage with passengers, and express themselves clearly.   The north is much more spread out than the south, so there is more time on the bus. Also the north has less tourist attractions, but anything of interest was covered well. This is operated by a Spanish based company, so expect many other non-English speaking travellers. The guide did a great job switching between both languages.Show more

We have clients from different nationalities and Our tours are for markets, both Spanish speaking and English speaking, our guides have been trained and are certified in the English language.I take your comment to our team to strengthen us.
