Overall a great tour that was very well organized and executed exceptionally. The Director, Akhrorbek, from Guided Travels personally accompanied us across the borders into and out of Turkmenistan, which made for a seamless experience. He checked in with the drivers and guides constantly to ensure that pick ups, drop offs, tours and meals went according to plan. Hotels were new and modern with basic but good buffet breakfasts and amenities. Staff were literally available 24/7 to respond to us on the chat if we had a question or a request. The 11 day tour was ideal to cover everything at a good pace. There was a lot packed into each day but there was flexibility and free time built in as well. The highlights for us were the Dervaza crater and Bukhara. We had a great experience and would highly recommend the Guided Travels 11 day tour.Show more

What a great hassle free 4 day tour of Turkmenistan. Azat and his team took care of getting all the paperwork needed to visit Turkmenistan. We met with him the night before the tour to go over logistics. He explained the border crossings. Once we crossed into Turkmenistan there was a representative to help us do everything necessary- pay the visa fee, get Covid test, get passport stamped etc. it was very smooth. We had 2 separate drivers and felt very safe with each one of them. But be warned that the roads in Turkmenistan are very bad, so if you get motion sickness make sure to pack some medicine for it. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and answered any questions we had. He was able to describe everything in English for us. He helped us at restaurants if we had any questions on what the food was if there wasn’t any English menu. The vast differences in what we saw was amazing- from the Devarza Crater, to Ashgabat, to Merv. I would recommend taking this tour with guided travels to anyone wanting to experience TurkmenistanShow more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Guided Travels LTD. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
