Maishofen
You'll arrive in Maishofen and get settled into your accommodation. Your travel documents and rental bikes (if you've booked them) will be waiting for you at the hotel, so you'll be all set to start cycling whenever you're ready.

Around Lake Zell
Today's a cycling day around Lake Zell, covering about 20 km total. You'll ride past Castle Prielau toward the lakeshore, then into Zell am See to check out the old town center and the historic parish church. From there, you'll head through the Schüttdorf moor before looping back along the other side of the lake with mountain views and Schmittenhöhe visible in the distance.

- Day 3
Zell am See to Krimml - Mittersill
Take the train from Zell am See into the Oberpinzgau region to see the Krimml waterfalls, Europe's highest. On the return trip, you'll cycle downhill through national park towns like Hollerbach (known for herbs), Stuhlfelden with its two castles, and Mittersill where there's a national park museum. If the full route feels like too much, you can hop back on the train at any point.

- Day 4
Maishofen
This is a lighter day with choices depending on what you feel like doing. You could join a guided hike onto one of Maishofen's mountains (needs at least 4 people), take a short hour-long walk to Schwalbenwand and Kammer-Eck-Alm for traditional lunch, or do a local 15 km bike loop as part of the unique Radgolf experience in Maishofen.

Maishofen to Leogang - Hochfilzen
You'll cycle through Neunbrünnen moor toward the Saalach River, then continue to the Leogang Ache. Stop at the tourist mine where silver ore used for Salzburg coins was extracted, and check out the mineral cabinet displaying about 70 partly rare mineral types. Return to the hotel through meadows and landscaped paths.

Maishofen to Glemm-Valley - Saalbach
Pedal gently uphill on a well-maintained path toward the alpine village of Saalbach, then continue to Hinterglemm while following the young Saalach river with tall mountains flanking both sides. There's an optional cable car up to Mount Schattberg (over 2000 meters) if you want to see panoramic views from the top.

Maishofen to Seisenbergklamm Gorge - Weißbach
Cycle through a small rural area to Maria Alm, then head to Saalfelden. Follow the Saalach river to Weißbach and the Seisenbergklamm gorge, a 600-meter path that woodcutters built back in 1831. After exploring the gorge, you'll bike back to the hotel past Lake Ritzensee and through the Kolling woods.
