This was a fascinating tour. We booked it because it highlighted elephants in Sri Lanka, but it actually covered many cultural and historical aspects of the island as well, so it was much more than just an elephant tour. We had a fantastic safari in Eco Park and were able to see many wild elephants up close. The Kandy Perahera was incredibly colorful, with beautifully dressed elephants, drummers, and dancers creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The hotels selected for us were excellent, offering great comfort and high standards, and the food was amazing throughout the trip. Our guide, Nishantha, was absolutely a gem. He helped us with daily activities and was very flexible in accommodating our needs. The hot air balloon ride was another highlight and is something I would absolutely recommend, even for families with kids. Our tour ended in Galle, where we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The beaches in southern Sri Lanka are clean and beautiful, and there are plenty of things to do in the area as well.Show more

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with amazing scenery. I went with my family, and it was an eye-opening experience for all of us. We saw lots of elephants in their natural habitat—eating, playing, and bathing. The Kandy Perahera was amazing, with the drummers, dancers, and of course, the elephants. I would definitely recommend this tour, but if you have more time, I suggest extending it to see more of the country. We had very little time, and this tour was spontaneous. Anyhow, we had a great time.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Roar and Rove. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
