Chennai
You'll arrive at Chennai International Airport where someone from the hotel will meet you and drive you to your accommodation. If there's enough time before sunset, you can take a quick tour that includes Marina Beach, San Thome Church, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, and Kalakshetra. After that, settle in at your hotel for the night.

Mahabalipuram - Puducherry

You'll see the Shore Temple, the Five Rathas, Arjuna's Penance stone relief, and Krishna's Butterball, which is a huge rock balanced on a slope. In the afternoon, drive to Puducherry and check into your hotel there.
