Itinerary
- Day 1
Kochi
You'll arrive in Kochi and get a traditional Swagat welcome at the airport. Your hotel representative will be there to help with check-in and answer any questions about the area. The rest of your evening is free to settle into your room and adjust after travel.



- Day 2
Kochi
You'll start at 9:00 AM with a full day exploring Kochi's history and culture. Begin at St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, then walk through the Dutch Palace and the Jewish Synagogue from 1568. The spice market hits you with aromas of cardamom, cloves, and pepper as you wander through the stalls. See the iconic Chinese fishing nets along the waterfront, and by evening you'll take a walking tour through the local markets to soak in the atmosphere.

- Day 3
Kochi to Munnar
Leave Kochi around 10:00 AM for a four-hour drive to Munnar, traveling through scenery with cascading waterfalls and mist-covered mountains. Once you arrive, check in to your hotel in this hill station at about 1,600 metres elevation, surrounded by tea plantations and scenic trails. You'll have your first evening free to settle in and relax at your own pace.

Munnar
After breakfast, spend the morning on a half-day sightseeing tour visiting some of the world's highest tea estates with emerald-green plantation slopes stretching endlessly. Continue to Eravikulam National Park where you might spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat. The afternoon opens up for you to either relax or explore on your own, whether that's checking out a local tea museum, walking through markets, or just enjoying the cool mountain air.

Munnar to Periyar National Park
You'll drive for four hours to Periyar National Park, South India's most popular wildlife sanctuary centered around a picturesque lake. The sanctuary holds elephants, bison, sambar deer, wild boar, monkeys, and occasionally tigers or leopards. Bird enthusiasts will find plenty to spot as various species inhabit the area throughout the year.

- Day 6
Periyar National Park to Kumarakom
Start with a visit to a local spice plantation where you'll learn how Kerala cultivates its famous spices like cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. An included boat ride on Periyar Lake follows, giving you chances to spot wildlife from the water. Then you'll make the 3.5-hour drive to Kumarakom, a serene village on Vembanad Lake's banks where coconut palms and vibrant birdlife create a peaceful setting.

Kumarakom to Alleppey
Your morning begins at Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you'll spot different species depending on the season. After that, you'll head to the jetty and board a traditional kettuvallam houseboat for a leisurely cruise across Vembanad Lake toward Alleppey. You'll watch village life along the scenic backwaters, and lunch and dinner come with your houseboat fare.

Alleppey to Kovalam
You'll leave the houseboat this morning in Alleppey and drive south to Kovalam at India's southern tip. The town has beautiful beaches separated by a steep cliff and lined with coconut palms. Kovalam is also well-known for Ayurvedic wellness treatments, and the rest of your day is free to settle in.

Kovalam
This day is entirely yours to plan. You can relax on Kovalam's white-sand beaches and let the waves do the work, or book an Ayurvedic therapy session at one of the local wellness centres to get some traditional Kerala treatments. The choice depends on what your body needs after the travel and activities.

Landmarks Kovalam Beach - Day 10
Kovalam to Trivandrum
A half-day tour of Trivandrum starts with the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. You'll visit the Sri Chitra Art Gallery to see Indian art including Raja Ravi Varma works and Mughal and Rajput miniatures. The Kuthiramalika Palace comes next with its intricate wood carvings and traditional Kerala architecture. From there, you'll head to Trivandrum Airport where your tour ends.
