- Day 1
Tashkent
After you land in Tashkent, head to your hotel and get settled in. From 2:00 PM, you'll start getting a feel for the city by checking out Independence Square and the Amir Timur Museum. It's a good way to shake off the travel and see some of the main sights right away.

Tashkent to Samarkand
You'll catch the high-speed Afrosiyob train at 7:30 AM and pull into Samarkand around 10:00 AM. Spend your afternoon walking through Registan Square and the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis. By evening, grab dinner at a local restaurant where you can see the illuminated Registan, which is really something to see after dark.

Samarkand

Samarkand to Bukhara

Bukhara

Khiva to Tashkent

The afternoon lets you wander the narrow streets and check out local craft shops on your own. You'll need to head to the airport for a late flight at 23:00.

Bishkek
You'll leave Bishkek at 8:30 AM heading about 40 kilometers south to Ala-Archa National Park. There are hiking trails for different abilities, and you can see the Tian Shan Mountains and look for local wildlife. You'll get back to Bishkek in the late afternoon.

Continue to the northern shore and settle into your hotel in Cholpon-Ata, where you can relax by the beaches and take in the mountain views.
