- Day 1
Leenane
You'll arrive in Leenane, a small village positioned between mountains at the head of Killary Fjord. After settling into your accommodation, take time to walk around and check out the two pubs and restaurants in town. They serve local dishes, so it's a good chance to get a feel for the area and grab something to eat.

- Day 2
Leenane
This morning you'll hike the Famine Trail along Killary Fjord, a historic route built as relief work during the Great Famine in the 1840s. The walk takes you through deserted villages with views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. If you want to add more, you can visit Tom's Sheep Farm or take a boat tour to spot dolphins and learn about local history. You'll head back to Leenane for the night.

Lough Inagh
You'll follow an old pilgrims' path heading up to Maumean, also called the Pass of the Birds, where a small chapel dedicated to St. Patrick sits at the summit. From there, continue along the Mám Éan Geotrail to explore geological connections between Ireland and America, then walk the Western Way into Inagh Valley. Later you'll reach charming accommodation overlooking Lough Inagh where you'll spend the night.

- Day 4
Renvyle
Starting from Lough Inagh, you'll cycle west toward the Renvyle Peninsula. The route passes through high mountains, clear lakes, and sea views. Stop at Kylemore Abbey, a 19th century castle with Victorian walled gardens and a Gothic chapel worth seeing. After that, continue to Renvyle where archaeological sites, historic ruins, and white sandy beaches are scattered around. You'll stay overnight in Renvyle.

- Day 5
Clifden
You'll cycle along quiet coastal roads through Connemara's scenery, passing through Letterfrack, the gateway to Connemara National Park. Take a break to walk one of the park's scenic trails. Later, you'll ride the famous Sky Road with panoramic sea views before arriving in Clifden, Connemara's main town. Spend time exploring the charming streets, colorful shops, and cozy pubs, and catch some traditional music. Overnight in Clifden.

Clifden
After a hearty Irish breakfast, you can choose how to spend your day cycling. Head south into Connemara's Gaeltacht region where Irish is the main language, or explore the Roundstone Peninsula with its ancient moorland, golden beaches, and a historic fishing village known for artists and musicians. Later you'll return to Clifden for dinner and one last evening of traditional music.
